I honestly can't stand "Steve" if that is even his real name. He claims he's the store manager and I guess I can believe it because he treats people like there's no repercussions whatsoever. The last time I was in the store he took several minutes to even come out. When I addressed him he took several seconds of staring at me before saying hello, I guess he was on the phone in his ear pod (which he never hung up the whole time he was rudely speaking to me). I asked about a preorder I made in the store, where I put money down to reserve an item when it was released. He proceeded to forcefully tell me I was saying it wrong and wouldn't move on. I had to say "well there is an item that I put money on and I would like to know where it is." He then lazily scrolled through the computer looking annoyed the whole time. After a bit he began to loudly tell me that "well I don't know what happened they should have called you! We don't have that anymore! It came out 10 days ago!" I'm not saying that I fully understood their preorder policy or that the item should have been there for me, that's more of a game stop thing. Well they should have called me if their not going to really reserve it, but anyway. My problem is with the "Steve" experience. There are always misunderstanding and problems with orders but to get hostile with the customer and and blame them and literally raise you voice is unacceptable. Then my kid went to buy something and put it on the counter while he got his money ready, what does this "Steve" guy say? "you need to give me the item if you want to buy it." basically power tripping my 12 year old making him place the item in his hand rather than grab it himself from the counter. There's another guy that works there, Marvin. He is amazing. From now on though unless I can call ahead and see who's working I'm only going to the Fairfield GameStop from here on out. "Steve" is one of the worst people I have ever had to deal with. His attitude is just absolutely toxic. Whenever I see him or even hearing his voice on the phone makes my adrenaline pump, which again maybe I wont even call ahead, just go to Fairfield because the experience I had with him was so frustrating. I hope you all manage to never have the "Steve" experience. And please Vacaville GameStop reach out to me when he is gone so I can safely go back to the...
Read morewell I went to the GameStop in Vacaville again. I figured it was a good to try them again. Considering I had not been in about six months. Since my last horrible experience. I was going in to trade my old I phone 6 in as I had gotten the 6 s when I got to the counter there was an employee by the name of Jeremy or jermy not sure of the spelling , but he took my old I phone, to examine it and keep in mind it was in a life proof case the entire time I had owned it. He tells me that's it's only worth 45$ which was funny because online I was told 119$ And over the phone from another employee at this same store!!!! they two said if it's like new. Which it basically was because of my life proof case for the phone. So he tells me 45$ is all he can give me. I decided to go to the Fairfield GameStop and it's funny they offered me 119$. They said it was one of the best kept I phones they had seen in a while. Which is unreal because 30 min before this I'm told by Jeremy This is the same employe that I had problems with before which I wrote a review for previously! he's vary rude especially towards young kids, he has gotten over on so many people it's amazing. Truly I'll never go back to this store until he's fired because he truly needs to learn manners if he doesn't like his job then quit...... And the owners and bosses of this store need to be held accountable as well for this is there employe who's supposed to be a representation of GameStop and...
Read morePlaced an order online so I didn't have to bring all my kids into the store. Parked out front and called the store. I was put on hold for over 6 minutes with no other communication from store member. I sent my daughter in with my phone and the pickup order email already pulled up on the screen and told the man at the counter we had called and we're placed on hold so my daughter just came in for a pick up order. After another 5 minutes of waiting in line a woman came to "help" her. Another several minutes went by before my daughter came out asking for money. The woman had looked at the email enough to get the name of the video game but not enough to read the word pickup order right next to it. She then completely disregarded my 6 year old daughter and put her head down. The initial man we spoke to then came and gave the game to my daughter. All this to do a door pickup because my baby was sleeping in the car. You can get anything here from the internet, why come here and subject yourself to this complete lack of customer service...
