I would say there’s nothing really exceptional about this grocery but I’d be lying.... the employees there are exceptional, kind, and just so darn nice that even if you can’t find what you need you still do some extra shopping because they’re just so happy to try and accommodate your needs. They climb the big shelves, lift heavy items, and help you to your vehicle. They also don’t pass judgement if you’re a maskhole. They greet maskers and non maskers with the same enthusiasm and it’s nice to leave politics outside the door. Food Cache is wonderful. They are your local Costco. They bring bulk items from Costco to Valdez for your shopping needs. Pet supplies, bulk drinks and alcohol, bulk meat and frozen goods, household needs, hygiene products, and more. Prices are very good and staff is very helpful.
