Very disappointed. If I could, I would give them Zero stars. I brought my PS5 in for HDMI Repair, the guy supposedly changed the port but said it still didn’t work and it was a no fix. Granted he didn’t make me pay, but today I took it too another shop in Westland to get a second opinion and soon as it was taken apart we noticed my motherboard was fried where the hdmi port is. The soldering work was terrible and no pins were connected. I feel bamboozled because these guys here at iComputers were not only dishonest with me about the work but also caused further damage, knocked off components, fried the board, and didn’t even have the decency to plug connectors back in the correct way. The crazy part about it all is that I would have never knew any of this if the technician at the new place didn’t take the top cover off in front of me and show me the damage that was caused. These guys are incapable of performing any type of solder work and are incapable of simple hdmi repair on a PS5. I’ve attached pictures of my now fried hdmi port and the poor soldering work. I recently received a work at home job opportunity and in order to start, there was quite a bit of computer equipment that I had to purchase ASAP. I found this place online, called, and went in the same day. Ray was most helpful and very informative about what I would need. I was able to purchase all of the necessary equipment (used and affordable). During my training, I have already noticed that some of my colleagues in the training are having technical difficulties with their brand new equipment they purchased at major retailers, but not me. I came in with an old school laptop that I wanted ddr3 ram 4 mbs to 8 for an upgrade. The owner was super knowledgeable. And was cheaper than the guy down the street. (Who hung up on me) when I said 'i computer' had it cheaper.. not only did 'i computer have it in stock' I brought it home installed it myself. But the frequency was too high or something so I brought it back. Homeboy worked on it for me to get to the bottom of it for about an hour, with good conversation the whole time at no extra charge.
