If anyone could find something wrong with this facility, I would have to question why ! Starting at the parking lot, front door, staff, facility, gym, equipment, and let’s not forget the bathrooms. Everything is extremely clean and in inviting. A great place to allow your teenage children to visit all the way to infants with their parents! And a great place for seniors citizen to enjoy a daily workout! Why would anyone have a problem with young people and seniors working out together? The great part of being an America is diversity! I don’t want to live in a community where diversity is not welcome. In my heart and mind, senior citizens, infants, teenagers, and young adults everyone should be welcome. And that’s what I feel when I work out at this facility, please with the reviews don’t turn something beautiful into something ugly.
It is obvious there are people in the community that are anti-senior citizens, which is pretty sad! So let me use some facts about the community center it’s not designed just for senior citizens. I’m looking at the community center program guide it’s broken down into several categories. members only, clubs, sport and fitness, clearly states open adults. It does not specify seniors only, Senior citizen, special events does not specify for seniors only it appears that it’s for young people maybe minors, Youth sports, and they also offer child watch. Don’t think senior citizens have a need for that. When I’m there working out, I noticed there are young women shooting hoops it’s not organized. Also, they have open Pickleball. I think that’s what it’s called it’s open to every one, I’ve noticed it’s of all ages participating. One more point you forgot to mention there’s an upstairs which has a rowing machine, other equipment, including a lounge area including indoors track. I travel all over the world and honestly I’ve never seen a hotel gym the size of the community center. I’m still not sure why you’re so down on the community center. That’s open to everyone. I would suggest to readers rather than relying on review, check it out for yourself. You may be pleasantly surprised...
Read moreI agree with Rodney Sizemore’s review. I wish the concerns were addressed instead of making it about someone not wanting diversity and inclusion? That seems more like a deflection. All the classes I wanted to take were only offered to seniors. The basketball court is unusable the majority of the time. And there isn’t really anything fun here for the youth. The game room is also only for seniors. This isn’t a community center. It’s an extension of the senior center. It’s ok to call it what it really is. There was nothing here for me...
Read moreThis seems like it’s just an extension of the senior center. Black box theater for additional entertainment that the seniors probably asked for. Workout area the size of a hotel gym. Theres 1 bench in total. The only bright side is theres a basketball court but only for there to be a scheduled activities scheduled throughout the entire day, so you can’t even use the court if you were to show...
