Ordered ahead this evening so I wouldn’t have to wait. I arrive after the suggested wait time of 18-23 minutes. When I go in I’m greeted and asked if picking up or needing to place an order. I tell her my name and the employee goes near the register and picks up a stack of tickets. Finds mine and then walks it over to the counter. I wait 20 more minutes, start chatting with another customer that said he came from Detroit and his order still wasn’t ready. He asked if it was usually this delayed. I told him it’s my first time so I wasn’t sure. After a while I look up reviews as 3 other customers have also been waiting 20 minutes now (all had ordered prior to my arrival on site).
Trust the other reviews on here. It’s pointless to order ahead, they don’t even start making your order until you arrive. Wings were good, standard for Wingstop. Unfortunately the longer wait along with the annoyed faces of other unhappy patrons made the atmosphere less than stellar. 2 stars since the food wasn’t bad, aside from the food it would be 1 star.
I also want to note that the store was not very busy. There were four of us, and at minimum we all waited 20 minutes. There were three employees at first and a fourth joined towards the 15 minute mark of my wait. Only two other customers walked in during the time I waited. I finally got my order after 25 more minutes (almost an hour from the order time). I wished my newly befriended Detroit patron his meal would be ready sometime soon. We chuckled and as I walked out the door the employee asked him his name again. I hope he’s gone by the time this review posts.
If you’re enjoying a leisurely day and have time to kill then by all means this place is for you. It was clean and staff was decently friendly. If you’re in a rush or like to order ahead, maybe try another Wingstop location or somewhere else all together.
I understand that there are delays, mistakes happen and sometimes businesses are short staffed but that wasn’t the case here. Plenty of staff coverage,...
Read moreAfter waiting over 40 minutes for my order,( 8 pc. Wings, flats, NOTHING ELSE). Going to and from my car 3 times only to stand there ignored. Nobody gave me an estimate beyond the original 20 minutes, nobody acknowledged me as I came in and out to let me know how much longer. The 3 workers were shuffling around in slow motion and stopping often to talk to each other instead of fill orders with any haste At all. The other customers waiting were also not happy. One man on the bench said he was never coming back. It was his 1st visit, mine too. Finally after 40 minutes and being ignored I said I want a refund please I'm not waiting anymore for 8 wings that cost a small fortune. They young man got mouthy and started to argue that I had a special order.. WHAT?? IT WAS 8 FLATS..NOTHING ELSE. I know flats cook faster than drummies too. Special order my butt...I ORDERED WINGS AT WINGSTOP. Then he didn't want to refund me said give him 10more minutes after it's now nearing an HOUR .I said no thanks and he kept arguing And I demanded .y money back which took another 10 minutes because the girl on the register didn't know how to refund. The guy finally did and rudely flung my 14 dollars on the counter like a petulant child. NEVER GOING BACK AND IM TELLING EVERYONE TO...
Read moreHello there I’m here to comment on an experience I just had while door dashing. I get an alert to go to wingstop within 3 mins im at the store. The girl at the counter is on her cell phone as well as the landline. Man from kitchen comes and when I give the name of the order, he immediately tells me “ someone else has picked up the order and we need to get our stuff together and stop trying to get free food.” This is unacceptable, unprofessional, and rude. FYI I can’t speak for others who dash but I myself definitely don’t do it for free food. I frequent this restaurant when I’m not working but will not again. I’m working just like the unprofessional man who came to what I thought was help a customer, I’m certainly not doing it for free food. If you can’t keep a calm courteous composure especially when you work with the public, maybe you should consider a different avenue of...
