Just think about how much easier Frodo’s journey to Mordor would’ve been if there had been a Dutch Brothers coffee on every corner of the adventure! Or what a relief it would’ve been for the pioneers as they slogged their way across the country if they could’ve stopped at Dutch Brothers along the way for a touch of refreshment!
I feel it’s a little bit like that. When I am off in the wilds of Vancouver I always get just a little bit excited when I see a Dutch Brothers.
Now it’s true I have a regular barista at a little locally owned place that I love. And every time I go to a chain I feel as if I am cheating on my wife. But if I am going to cheat, I suppose it’s going to be one of these places.
The product is always good, cold when it needs to be cold, hot when it needs to be hot. But let me tell you, one of the main reasons I come to Dutch Brothers is because of the service.
For an old and possibly eccentric traveler, I appreciate a friendly and helpful encounter, no matter where it is. These coffee shops seem filled with the abundance and optimism of youth. I don’t think I’ve ever had a negative encounter at one of these windows
And at this Dutch Brothers, I have to say it was even better! I’m afraid my memory is not as good as it used to be so I might have his name wrong, I think it was Sean, but he had the ability to make you feel like you were in on the story. He is a master at instant connection, he should probably teach this stuff.
This kind of thing is not particularly common among young people. When you pull up to some places or go into establishments you are often met by boredom, condescension, and impatience. sometimes, honestly there is a temptation to reach out and give some of these kids a good shake by the scruff of their necks.
I know the service industry ain’t no walk in the park and I’m sure these kids are not being paid as much as they deserve. Treat them well, don’t forget to tip them and remember a little kindness between stranger is part of what makes life worth living.
Give that kid a raise! He...
Read moreI am highly unsatisfied with my visit to this dutch bros on sunday September 10th approx 330 pm, I understand they were super super busy, but I ordered a medium carmalizer 4x xta sweet with whip and Carmel drizzle on top of my whip only. After waiting 10 ish mins for my drink and having bees and wasps swarm me because there is nothing for them to get trapped into. Mind you im allergic and ajother customer waiting WAS HIGHLY ALLERGIC. I got my drink and it had Carmal on the cup. No big deal I used to order it that way before. I went over to Walmart to do my shopping. While drinking my drink I kept getting mouthfuls of caramel that I had to spit out because it was soooooo much. I was going to go back and have them remake it I saw their line is long again. I refused to wait. Here's to another wasted coffee because it wasn't made right. Im just about done going to other dutch bros. I don't have an issue at my...
Read moreMy friend and I stopped here for coffee, twice and I find that their staff is always jovial in this location, friendly and it's nice that they are positive and their attitude upbeat. They get your order right though sometimes they asked three times which is a little bit confusing and funny but they probably hear a thousand orders a day. They did get both orders correct! definitely hip, trendy place as I know they intend for it to be and they always make sure to hire reasonably attractive people for their image and their customer base.
I find their coffee flavor and Brewing is superior to Starbucks in my personal taste profile. They have a host of drinks both cold and hot for all ages. If you've never been, be sure you leave your windows down a little bit so you can hear their upbeat music which keeps the...
