Happy Juice — Restaurant in Vancouver

I don't go here all the time, but when I do it's a good experience with pretty good — and CONSISTENT — drinks; lots of options to choose from; and patient, knowledgeable baristas.

Desiree was the barista this most recent visit. They were incredibly welcoming and managed a friendly conversation with two cars simultaneously (without me, at least, feeling as if I was competing for their time). They also made an excellent drink while chatting. It was somewhat early in the morning, and I appreciated their ability to talk without it feeling exhausting. It might just be that I'm more introverted (and caffeine-dependent), but it was nice to have such an easy interpersonal interaction before my morning coffee.

Baristas are like bartenders, or even social workers-lite! I would come to this juice truck more if I knew you were paying your employees a living wage, and/or...

I loooove Happy Juice, especially for their smoothies! My only complaint is that there seems to be some inconsistency in training—90% of the time, I get the smoothie I ordered, but I occasionally get a smoothie that seems to have different fruit in it than the menu lists or is waaaay too heavy on the apple juice, and I never know how much I’m going to be charged for my order! I’d appreciate if they had prices listed on the menu so I could verify if I’m being properly charged, as my total seems to fluctuate by about $10 depending on the day/who is working. The products are good enough to be worth the uncertainty, and I’d love to see them continue to grow as a company, but I think there’s some tightening of standards to be done before they can successfully...

This place is GOOD, and that is where it gets a little complicated. There are no prices listed anywhere on this stand, and it is EXPENSIVE.

Plan on spending a pretty penny to get a drink here as 2 of us got 2 drinks and spent $29 with tip. It was a bit shell shocking to be honest.

On the other hand- the drinks WERE very very good, just a big surprise for the cost. I could see myself coming for a rare special occasion moving forward but alas this is definitely not going to be the frequent morning stop before work.
