Would give less than 1 star if I could. This store is consistent, consistent at messing up your order. After multiple times of our order being wrong, missing food, cold items, stale items, you name it. We finally said something; I submitted their online survey with the store number and receipt number and left my phone number for them to call me. A few days later I got a voice-mail from the manager apologizing for our issues and saying to come in and get either a full refund or Replacement on our order. So I came in with my receipt and explained the situation and asked for a replacement. The staff was rude the whole time, told us that we were at the wrong location (apparently the manager that called me was the manager of the hazel Dell store but like I said before, I submitted the store number that was on my receipt to the online system and thats who called me so idk how thats my fault.) And after arguing with us got the manager. The manager comes to the speaker and has an attitude and when I explained to her the situation she also said she couldn't do anything because it was my fault and that I needed to go to the other location. So I started explaining what was wrong with our original order to see if she could do the replacement, she cut me off said she hasn't received an email and I needed to go to the hazel Dell store. So we drove up to the window, asked the guy working what the managers name was, he gave it to us and we said thank you and started to drive away. He yells at us "its not our fault you contacted the wrong store" we stopped, said " we didn't contact them they contacted us we put this store number " he then responds again yelling "its not our f*ing fault" we didn't respond and drove off. After multiple experiences like this, I will not return to this location. I will take my business to the hazel Dell location after they were incredibly understanding, replaced our entire order with fresh, hot food and even gave is an extra mac an and cheese. If you want KFC, go to the 78th street location. They will treat you right, this one is full of rude staff who don't care and give you cold, stale food and...
Read moreMy husband and I hadn't been to KFC in a VERY long time.. We were looking for a place to eat lunch and saw that we were actually close to a KFC.. We were stoked to stop and eat there again, maybe somewhat re-live our youth a bit.. Lol... and my husband really wanted to try a specific wing sauce that had been advertised.. The place was very clean and updated, the staff were very nice. Absolutely no problems there. Side bar - while in line, watched an employee with a couple of dudes who didn't speak English trying to order and didn't understand what sides came with the meal.. She was very patient and kind and didn't do or say anything stupid to make them feel less than. High marks. KFC Corp needs to step it up - The original crispy chicken on the bone is still amazing. The cole slaw, mashed and gravy all were on par, just like it used to be.. The bowl with mashed, gravy, corn, cheese and chicken wasn't great like it used to be. Not enough gravy and the chicken was dry.. 5 itty bitty nugs of chicken wasn't enough.. The ratio was way off. I don't blame staff since there's no way cooking/prepping everything isn't all scripted. My husband was going to order the wings except the sauce he was excited to try was discontinued. The signage and the app hadn't been updated.. But she did say it wouldn't let you order online even though the option is there. Updated signage should be sent to the stores if the company decides to remove a product and freaking update your app.. The chicken littles aren't chicken littles anymore.. They're just dumb little chicken sandwiches.. And they come with pickles on them.. That's not at all what a chicken little is.. IYKYK If you're old school like me, stick to the bucket and the tried and true sides. The prices are a bit extreme for fried chicken and no more parfaits either. WTAF I should probably send this feedback to KFC directly.. 🤷🏽♀️ Anyway.. The place and people were great. 4 stars for them, 2...
Read moreI knew I wasn't going to cook tonight as it's almost 100°. I thought, "I bet KFC is going to be slammed, but I really want to take advantage of a promotion they have going on. I know, I'll order 2 HOURS AHEAD OF TIME and pick it up at 5:45pm. That way they'll have time to get it ready and I can just walk in, grab and go".
So my son and I walk in right at 5:45pm and are promptly told that not only is my order not ready, "it's gonna be about 15 minutes". Annoying, but ok.
So we sit.
And sit.
And sit.
My son is autistic and at times it's hard for him to sit still for longer than 5 minutes. Again, that's why I order ahead of time to reduce waiting in at a place. After 15 minutes he's getting antsy.
But we sit.
And wait while 10 other customers get their orders.
Finally, I decide to go to the pick up window at 6:13 pm. The young lady at the counter that first "helped" us looked at me like she'd never seen me before. She asked my name, I told her, sir proceeds TO GRAB MY BAG FROM THE PICK UP SHELF.
IT HAD BEEN SITTING THERE FOR WHO KNOWS HOW LONG.
I said, "seriously? How long had that been there?"
"Oh only a few minutes"
"I was sitting right there" as I point to the table 10 feet away.
"Oh, I, uh, called your name"
"I was sitting RIGHT THERE" not loudly, just annoyed."
"I ordered at 3:45, it's been 2 1/2 hours"
"Yeah, sorry, we're slammed"
"That's why I ordered 2 hours ago"
Honestly, if she hadn't been so young I would've...
