Game stop Vancouver mall sold me a headset that doesnât fit my console controller after I asked several times if it would fit. When I went to return it the guy who sold it to me was talking to his buddy while I stood in line and the other employee was busy with an actual customer ( but took about 45 minutes to sell him a ps5) I had been in line about 15 minutes being ignored by this guy even though I know he could see me in line. Made no attempt to help me then walked into the back room to clock out. When he came back out I asked him why he said this headset would fit when it clearly doesnât so he says he canât help me because heâs clocked out and i asked if thereâs anyone else working who could process this return so I could leave since Iâd been in line over 40 minutes at this point. He said no of course then goes back to talking to his buddy and I could hear him talking bad about me. I thought customers are supposed to be literally the one reason these people have their jobs Apparently he thinks customers donât matter. When I finally returned it I was leaving and the same guy sarcastically says really loud have a nice day I promise one thing that I will NEVER return to this game stop or probably any game stop ever again. Management should look into training their employees so they not only actually know what theyâre talking about when selling products but also pay attention to paying customers when theyâve been in line for a long time and not stand in the corner talking trash about a customer while trying to get sympathy points from his buddy. Screw game stop and that clown who works at the van...
Read moreExtremely rude , unhelpful and unfriendly. I could keep going but this store is by far the worst gamestop Iâve ever shopped at which is extremely sad as itâs now my local gamestop
I have a game informer subscription and have had issues with never getting it in the mail My previous local store always took care of me as a customer and gave me a copy whenever the mail failed to deliver
In this case however I found a very unhappy looking rep at the counter and upon requesting a copy of this months game informer explaining my issue with mail etc She put her hand on the stack of game informers as if guarding them in case of theft and said â call customer care I canât give you oneâ I told her I already had and they told me to come to a local store but she maintained the rudeness and says âI can help the next customer â
If you need assistance this is not a store that values customers or represents the brand in any way And the second issue Iâve had trying to be a customer here
Where is management ???!?!? Other stores I visit all tell me theyâve heard the horror stories of this store and sadly I can confirm all of them...
Read moreI have spent a LOT of money at this store, seen management and employees shift a few times, watched relationships between employees and customers waver between genuine and transactional, and suffered many screw-ups on the store's part that they weren't willing to fix. I moved all my pre-orders over to another store, hoping I'd have a better experience than here. I pre-ordered a game months in advance, was never called about it coming in and being ready, called in about a week after it was apparently there, was told it was sitting there waiting for me, spent the time and gas to head to the store, only to be told that I was lied to on the phone. My game wasn't there. The associate didn't bother to take the time to confirm whether or not the game was there. I got told that someone else bought it because it was sitting there for over 48 hours and never got picked up. Other stores have confirmed that they hold games for up to a week after the release date. Someone is lying, and nobody wants to take responsibility for the lies and miscommunication. I'm hoping my money serves a different...
