When my husband and I purchased my wedding ring from Morgan Jewelers I was in love with the ring. But the headaches caused by them and their jeweler soon diminished its beauty. The trouble started, and never seemed to end, the first time I had it resized. Their guy that does the resizing must hate his job. The first time it came back it was too big and the band was lumpy and uneven. Unhappy with the fit and finish, I sent it back to be redone. When i picked It up a week later, it was STILL too large. So i sent it back again. When i picked it up the band was the right size but it was still lumpy and uneven and now the filigree had a cut in it. I missed my ring and wanted to wear it for a few weeks knowing that I had the warranty and could send it back in whenever. A few weeks go by and the rhodium plating accent over part of the rose gold was starting to come off so i wanted that redone and the filigree fixed. So it was sent off again and at this point i haven't been able to wear my ring for over a month total time! When it came back the last time i almost cried. The sales people AND MANAGER were rude to me like it was MY FAULT their guy does a poor job. The manager was condescending when he commented on how many times I've sent in my ring. And when they presented it to me it didn't even look like my ring anymore! It had black stuff which looked like dirt that wouldn't come out in the designs between the smaller diamonds and the band was still lumpy and scratched! So i decided i was done with the mall Morgan's and took it to the one at Cascade Station. When i explained what was going on one of the ladies was quite helpful and said they work with a different jeweler who takes pride in her work. So it was out another week and when it came back everything was perfect and the black stuff was gone but the rhodium plating accents were gone as well! So i showed them pictures of the ring band new when i bought it and the manager argued that none of their rings like that have that rhodium accent, even though the pictures clearly show it AND it was sent off with the plating on! I told her that's why i bought it. It was one of a kind; only the mall store had it. So they made me print out pictures and include them with the ring and send it back AGAIN. I got a call a week later saying their jeweler lady doesn't know how to do the plating so they were sending it back to the guy who does the sizing and fixes for the mall store and that I'll have to pick it up from them when it's done! At this point i just wanted to burn the damn thing. It had caused such a headache for me. So i begrudgingly picked it up a few weeks later from the mall store once again with them making snide remarks about how the 10th time is the charm. If you buy anything from them get the warranty, but be prepared to get ridiculed every time you...
Read moreThis will be my first time writing a review for absolutely anything ever. I have never done a review for dining, movies, products, vacations, or any other experience my entire life. And considering I am 45 years of age I hope that will speak volumes as a preface to the following review. The welcoming nature of this establishment is 2nd to none. The entire staff will take all the time necessary to assist you in any and all decisions you may have while shopping at their establishment. With my first visit there, I had mentioned that I had been after a particular watch. A member of their staff took the time to research this watch, and let me know that if they ever came across it that they would call me. I did not request they order it, I did not put down a deposit, nothing. Simply left my number as a semi hollow platitude knowing that the watch I’ve been after for over a year no one seemed to ever carry or has ever seen it. As the fates would have it, they received this watch the following week. That same representative called me to inform me of this news. They even told me that they cannot “hold onto” merchandise for anyone, especially something that wasn't specifically ordered. But knowing my history with this particular piece, they would make an exception. I went down to check this watch out, to finally see it for myself. And sure enough there it was, pictures did not do it Justice. I informed them that I had not planned on spending any money to add to my collection so soon, that seeing the watch was not something I had ever expected. That I had a series of rather large expenses coming around the corner that were related to a non profit that I work with. The representative took the time, worked with me and helped acquire the watch working with them through in house funding as they are family owned business. They secured me an account that I am able to make reasonable payments on, without running my credit, without a lot of effort on my behalf. And today I am the very elated “client”, not a customer (as I will be taking all of my business there moving forward) with what could be considered my final piece to my collection. I am endlessly grateful for their hospitality, patience and customer service, which seem to be in rare supply these days. Thank you Morgan Jewelers, you have made me a loyal...
Read moreWe have been doing business with Morgan Jewelers for 20+years. During that time Tom is the one we normally seek out. We were at the mall yesterday and stopped by to say hello. I started looking around while we were talking and a pair of lab created diamond earrings caught my eye. Tom took them out and let me try them on. We had a conversation, mainly Tom and my husband, about mined and lab created diamonds. My husband was surprised at the price of the 2 carat TW stud earrings I tried on. I mentioned my birthday was coming up in a few days and what a great present the earrings would be. We left empty handed, but the next morning my husband said he thought we would go back to the mall today. We went and I left with the earrings I tried on yesterday. I had mentioned to Tom a time I used the jewelry cleaner on several pieces and they were damaged when I took them out. A pair of diamond studs, diamond pendant and chain had the metal discolored, blackened. Another pair of smaller diamond studs the post and backs had separated from the diamond and setting. Tom asked me to bring them by for him to look at, so I did on our return visit today. The chain was toast, but was an inexpensive chain. The diamond pendant was fine, but was now silver because the yellow gold plating had been eaten off. After Tom cleaned it real good the pendant looked great. We ended up buying a white gold chain and I like it better than as yellow gold. The posts came off the diamond studs when Tom was cleaning them. He is sending them to have new posts and backs put on. Tom is always friendly, helpful and fun to deal with. He always goes above and beyond when helping us. He plays a big part in the reason we continue to go to Morgan's for our jewelry needs, whether window shopping, buying...
