Went in Saturday and the manger of the store (so she said she was) was incredibly rude. She wasn't listing to me (or didn't care...or both) and had a extremely rude tone.
When asked of she could use the "system" to verify a particular tool size she said it wasn't possible. I thought fine, no problem and moved on. So, she walked over to another counter and came back, rudely tossed a plastic sheet with loaner tools on the counter and stood there in silence for a moment. I said I don't need to rent a tool I was just hoping to verify the right size tool on a break part.
She also had two young kids running around the stock room area which I presume to be hers (very dangerous)
I reached out to the AutoZone regional office but couldn't speak to anyone. Likely due to holiday. I will be following up with them as I am angry that an employee treated me like trash and as if I was an inconvenience to her.
A member of management represents the company and while this, in my opinion isn't necessarily a reflection on AutoZone, it is a poor reflection on the location/store.
I will shop at other AutoZone stores but not this one, Solely because of her. I'll be going to O'Reilly's Auto parts...

But the guy that attempted, had long dark hair, to help did exactly opposite. Issues i had was hard to start but once it started there were no issues which is a classic battery issue. I went there and told him the issue and he told me it sounds more like an alternator issue. Saying that the battery has the correct voltage but didnt bother to test it for bad cells or any other issues. Then told me that the car starts off the alternator and runs off battery(wrong!) then proceeded to look up alternators for me even though i was insistent it was a battery issue. Decided to go somewhere else and got a new battery at a different store. Problem fixed.
The other employees I've dealt with are generally good people and...

No nod, avoided eye contact, after the one walked past me twice even I even pushed into his path to try and force an encounter, and nothing. I've left places for less, if they don't want my money or my business I'm sure the place down the street will, and right when I was getting that it's time to walk vibe. This very helpful and knowledgeable female associates approached me. She got me the help, part and advice I needed. I'd don't put names in reviews because staff changes and reviews linger but I'm very tempted just so she gets the acknowledgment. She was the only reason they got my...
