Addis at one time my favorite store. Now I am finding rude cashiers. Store policy from what they rudely explain; is one lane open and additional lanes only open during high volumes and the customer should know not to get in extra lane.
I’ve been yelled at three times and have seen other customers treated worse than that. Let me state the lane open light was on and no plaque on Conveyor belt requesting to use other lane. I can tolerate empty shelves, blocked Isles, product not available any longer, and occasional bad product. But rudeness. The store is managed to keep the customer in lines down, and the cashiers productivity is always monitored. This causes the clueless shopper to get a scolding because we don’t knowhow to shop by Aldi’s standard. Shame on Aldi for requiring their employees to herd the general public according to your house ne lane policy. By the way the Custer and their purchases keep your store in business not your Efficiency bean counters. I pitty this cashiers! Three different people scolded me, it’s got to be management. May I say, I am generally a happy shopper that doesn’t complain or give bad reviews. As a matter of fact thee’s a enjoyable laughter we people ask me. “where you buy that?” Because everyone knows I am going to reply, “Aldi’s” . I am your cheapest commercial and I have gotten many people to try ALDIS but things better change at the Vernon, CT location or I’ll be at one of the 3 other grocery...
Read moreOk overall this isnt a bad store, its kept pretty clean, they usually have a good stock on things, but customer service needs to be improved big time. And the restroom needs to be cleaned more frequently. My biggest issue with this store is it's a pretty busy store, now that being said why in the world would they only offer 1 mobile shopping cart? With the volume of customers I would think they would have at least 3. Every time I come here I end up wasting my time because it's either not charged and cant I've used, or is charging, or being used by someone who is just to lazy to walk around. Now I have to bad knees (multiple surgeries on both) and I suffer from copd and asthma. So just getting from the handicapped parking to the front door takes a lot out of me. Just to walk in and discover that I now have to turn around and go to a different store is frustrating in of itself. They also have minimal handicapped parking which is another issue. All around just aggravating. Not a bad store, prices are good, just needs improvement and a little attention to certain things. It's almost as if they did the minimum requirements for handicapped access and parking and figured that was good enough. I like the store, so its a shame I'll have to start going to another store on a regular basis if this...
Read moreI was at the Vernon store today they're literally wasn't even a parking spot in the parking lot I wanted to buy a couple containers of plain white yogurt the Hindu people buy them all so there's never any plain white yogurt all the key items that I needed they were already out of by 11 a.m. The people try to stock the shelves but there's so many people in the store you can't even get down through the aisles I can understand this because Stop & Shop Big Y and other stores of this genre are way too expensive Aldi is cheaper but they still are expensive on a lot of their items their produce is mediocre and their organic items are very limited so sometimes Aldi isn't your best choice dealing with the people of today and so many people in the left side of this country that don't belong here makes America very difficult let's hope the left gets rid of these illegals so the right can have the right to shop at these places without having to...
