This place has been around for a long time. It would be nice to see some upgrades, saying as how much business they get. Assuming on how much business they get. And that night time is a busy time for them. The food must be good. I have only did a pickup here have not eaten but from what the community tells me from the amount of times that I get orders from here. It's definitely worth a try. There might be a wait just based on afternoon. Orders coming in but Is a high demand restaurant? I'm fairly bewildered by the amount of one star reviews for this place. I'm a picky diner, and a big complainer if the service is sub par. That being said, our food has always come out promptly and our orders have always been accurate. The waiters are usually pretty gruff, but not in a way that is offensive or rude, more likely because of the language barrier. The food tastes like your normal Chinese food, and we have always had good sized portions. Also- they have a pretty fantastic menu of drinks that all come out in their own different bowls. All in all its a low key place to eat Chinese food and have a cool drink. Many changes to the food.. Panda PALACE was one the few place that made traditional rice. Now they follow the trend that less is more and offer Spanish season style rice with pork.. Unfortunately there been a a change in management and cooks. Meat and other items are still great but price is becoming an issue.. Very few places in CT make Chinese rice with all the veggies, eggs and seasoning sadly like many low quality urban take out resterants, Panda PALACE has followed the trend..
