Sadly, I wanted to write a good reviews but after how I was treated I just can't. We went in for fall wedding flowers. I was very specific on when I wanted. Rainbow fall flowers. Please make sure to add sunflowers and blue flowers! I was given a quote of $180. I was told that depending on what I was given the prices could be less. The flowers were picked up by my sister in-law and I had paid for them full $125. It was $55 less then I was quoted. I though it was less because there were no sunflowers or blue flowers. (Don't get me wrong the flowers we got were Beautiful.) To my surprise with out my permission the day after my wedding the shop decided it would be appropriate to charge my card for $55 more. No phone call nothing! They just helped themselves to my bank account! When I called to ask why they took more money out of my account I was shocked by the disgusting attitude I was given! Her reasoning was she had quoted me a $180 and charged me the wrong price when I called to pay my balance in full. So she just took it upon herself to take more money out of my account. I explained to her that I did not get all the flowers I asked for so I assume the price was less. I also explained to her that it wasn't my fault because I had went there to pay my bill in full and that's the price I was given. She informed me that she didn't care and that it was her money and that she made the decision to take it out of my account. She also informed me that she would not be refunding me. I explained to her that it was completely inappropriate and had she called me and had a conversation with me I would have given her the money but since she just took it out of my account I wanted it back because it was unprofessional and against the law. She continued to make fun of my English and try to correct my grammar and had the audacity to hang up on me. Unfortunately I had to make a claim with my bank and the money was returned. I just have to say that when you give a business your credit card information you do it under the impression that they will only use it for that one transaction. Read moreThis is the second time I have ordered from Michelle’s. I live in another state and have friends living in CT that I have needed to send flowers to. Being a florist myself, I chose to use Michelle’s rather than use a wire service because I know you don’t get what you pay for through them, and I’d rather support a local, small business. Both times I’ve ordered they have exceeded my expectations. Big, bountiful orders that were executed flawlessly. Ordering is super easy, and delivery is very prompt being delivered before noon the next day after placing the order. I will continue to support Michelle’s for any floral needs in the future. My only criticism would be that I had ordered a dish garden that had yellow flowers and a yellow bow with it but white flowers and a white bow were substituted. Not sure why, as yellow is a common color and usually readily available. While I picked it because it was yellow, what was delivered was still beautiful and exceptionally well done. Moments after placing my order I received a call from Michelle saying she did not have all the flowers in the shop for the arrangement I chose and she'd be happy to make something just as pretty. She asked me about the occasion and I shared that my son and his fiance had to put their wedding off this past April because of Covid-19 and they just really wanted to get married so they were "eloping". Michelle seemed to really understand that I was happy for them but sad I would not be able to fly up from Austin to join them. She asked if I could wait a day to send the arrangement that she'd make something really special, and that, she did!! The kids received the arrangement yesterday and said the flowers were magnificent and the aroma was amazing. My son said the picture doesn't do it justice.
