Racks Billiards and Bar — Local services in Vernon

I felt very unwelcome in this establishment I came there with a friend and was treated like an outsider. I am 41 and my friend is 30. I had left my I’d in my car ( an accident.. my friend drove). And while I understand carding policy, being a bartender and tips certified, I also understand the importance of a voucher. There is hospitality, common sense and judgement involved with every business. I am clearly of age and, though I had several coworkers and patrons vouching for me, they rudely told me to leave, embarrassed me, my friend and my friends that I came to support. It was bad service and unnecessary. I tip well, even when I don’t drink ( being a known local bartender). And they were clearly not receptive to my patronage, making me feel judged and, honestly, discriminated against.? I do not plan to return. I and I would not recommend it. Racks is a great spot! I shot league there & they treat the APA members like friends & family. Not that it's a bad spot to visit if you're not in a league. They have a great craft beer selection on tap, the tables are kept VERY clean & they have an area just for pros & high skill players if you want a more serious experience. You won't find the walls lined with cheap poorly handled sticks though, so bring a stick or expect to rent one. Monday through Thursday is pretty busy with league play but the weekends are pretty easy to get a table because they have A LOT of very well kept tables. The first day I went...it was pretty well.. Considering.. But the second night.. Wasn't so pleasant ..we never made it.. An employee came outside to smoke with his friends.. Made an assumptions of my sister and I.. Walked up to car window while smoking telling us there's no drinking in da parking lot(assumed)... And went back to the sidewalk with friends..turned to us and SHOOD US AWAY disrespectfully...as they laughed... WE WERE BEYOND TIGHT WITH HIS ACTIONS... 7/17/20.....
