Walgreens — Local services in Verona

We went here to get our vaccine shots, and for that is how I'll rate this location. We arrived a little early for our first appointment and filled out our paperwork beforehand. We only waited a few minutes after to get our initial vaccination shot. All went well and the person administering the vaccinations did a good job and was personable. Our second shot went even quicker as we inform them we had arrived for our appointment a little early and they took us early because there was no one ahead of us. Again the person administering a shot was friendly and did a good job. As for the inside of the store, at the time we went which was July of 2020, It was not very modern looking or gave me the feeling I should shop here as it does look very old, but not in that cool antique looking way. This store could definitely use a makeover, as you definitely wouldn't come here for the experience like a modern store. In fact, if you go to the Walgreens on Main Street in Clifton you will see digital screens on the refrigerators for their beverages. It's a really something to check out! Here I wouldn't be surprised if the refrigerator is just stopped working because they're that old. But, as I stated In this review, the employees did a good job doing what we needed them to do, which is mostly where they earned The three stars. I would hope corporate would see this and put some money into this location instead of just letting it fall into disarray.

I've recently back moved to this pharmacy in my hometown because when I was growing up here my experience was stellar. There are new pharmacists here and suffice to say the experience is not what it was. In the 3 times I've had a prescription called in here I've had an issue each time; on one occasion the pharmacy assumed I didn't need a prescription that was called in (I use two doses of a medication because the dose I actually need is unavailable) and they chose not to call in one of the two doses because they assumed that the doctor made a mistake in calling on two doses. Another time, when there was some action needed on my doctors part they said that they reached out but my doctor had no record of this. When I called to enquire about this I was repeatedly hung up on. Additionally, when my new insurance was added they were unable to enter the information over the phone and made me make an extra trip to do so despite my communicating that I live 30...

I went yesterday to pick up my prescription from there, I was in so much pain and I was with my 2 kids (a toddler and a 9 month old baby) I asked the pharmacist for a help I told her “I’m in pain and I need your help to find something that the doctor recommended like special heating pads to relieve my pain” they didn’t care they told me just go to this isle and look for it. I went and try to look for it but couldn’t find (couldn’t focus) I went and asked for a help again. She looked at me like (what do you want now?) I told her again I’m in pain and I need your help she said ok give me few minutes. There was a man standing waiting his turn he came after I asked her for help she told him how can I help you?!! Then I left I couldn’t wait with this rudeness!!!! How could they! A PHARMACIST!! Even the lady who was working at the cashier I asked her but didn’t help. I hope they can read this post! Or the manager can...
