I am going to be honest about my review. First of all it doesn't matter if you wait in line at 6 AM. They let everyone in the store at 9 AM. Then you stand in front of an item that spikes your interest. Then they tell yo u to put your hands up. So you may be standing near someone who just got there at 8:59 AM. Then they say go and what do you know the person who got there at 8:59 gets the item you wanted simply because their arms are longer. They show videos of their other stores for the Friday previews on FB to hype up what you may get such as alot of electronics, vacuum cleaners and various other large items. When you go to the Victoria location the same stuff IS NOT available. Don't get me wrong you may be lucky to find decent items worth your money but there is ZERO need to go at 6 AM and stand in line. Another thing, when they do the restock at 30 mins. They shouldn't allow people to push their baskets into the restocked area as it causes a safety issue and basically no escape route if people start getting crazy to find junk. The reason there are five star reviews is the customers are told if they give a five star review they will get a free item. Again this is an honest review. Will I go back yes because this place stops people from opwning boxes and making a mess. The inside is clean and doesn't smell like a thift store. The employees are nice and yes you can find a bargain. Just dont expect high ticket items but you may get lucky to tug of war a TV when they...
Read moreHonestly…Crazy deals started off as a good place with promises of fresh merchandise put on the floor every hour on Fridays, and everything being $8. Now they’re no longer releasing things every hour on Fridays, I am also finding that a lot of the items they have been putting out recently are dirty and extremely/heavily used. (Shoes, undergarments, cups, etc) I’ve seen everything from crusty underwear to a dog bed with poop in it for sale there. Also they are beginning to take some of the items that they were once selling for $8 and placing them behind to counter to charge $50-100+ for them.(thus changing the bang you’re getting for your buck on certain things) You can still find some good/decent things if you’re patient and persistent, but definitely not like you could a month or 2 ago. All in all I would have to say that it’s a tad overhyped at this point, but still worth going to save a few bucks on lower value things, and maybe half price on some of the higher value used items they keep behind...
Read moreMostly junk not worth $8.00 aside from a few things but definitely not worth the trouble. Don’t believe any of the ads on Facebook, you won’t see any of that there, we were first in line one Friday because of the Facebook ads and realized soon it was a gimmick. There are a couple 32” cheap TV’s that they probably go to Walmart and buy for $89 just to get people excited about coming in, but if you aren’t the first person through the door and willing to sprint across the store, you won’t get one. Don’t believe all the 5 star reviews, they make you give a 5 star review before you walk in to enter a raffle for a 50” cheap TV. Honestly just feels like a scam. Wouldn’t...
