So this pertains to the level of respect given to guests, not the quality of the food. The food was tasty;over priced but tasty. The menu states when ordering a Hibachi meal it comes with soup, salad, and steamed rice. We received chicken fried rice after being coerced by both the server and the chef, charged for it, and then refused a refund. It wasn't offered to us in the sense of, "would you like to get chicken fried rice instead of the steamed rice that comes with the dish?" I ordered Shrimp Hibachi and the questions from the server were choice of dressing, soup now or later, and chicken fried rice? No mention that she was discreetly upselling me. Now, I didn't know what happened until after we paid for the meal. I have no issues with paying for what I order, but when tricked into it, when I would gladly take the upsell is upsetting and offputting. Our bill was $58 and some change, which I left a very generous $20 for a tip, then I asked to speak with the Manager, one Laura Garrison. After reviewing the check and speaking to me, she informed me that the server and the chef stated that I specifically ordered the extra chicken fried rice and she was refusing me the refund of $8.95! I was called a liar and treated as such because the 2 employees and manager decided that the guest complaint isn't valid. Mrs. Garrison told me that she believed her staff and that I was trying to get something free! From the moment we walked in, she greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel right at home. Throughout the meal, Nichole went above and beyond to ensure that everything was perfect. Her attention to detail was impeccable, from recommending the perfect dish to promptly refilling our drinks without us even having to ask. Her knowledge of the menu was impressive, and she was able to answer all of our questions with ease. What truly stood out, however, was her genuine kindness and enthusiasm. It was evident that she genuinely cared about our dining experience and wanted to make sure we had the best time possible. She was attentive without being intrusive, striking the perfect balance that made us feel well taken care of without feeling smothered. In addition to her exceptional service, Nichole yes she did. I was honestly had a wonderful personality that truly brightened our day. Read moreI just want to start this by saying we have been very loyal customers that have come to this Establishment weekly if not 4-6x a month traditionally. We use to have amazing service and a staff who cared about us and believe me we always tip over 30% +. Unfortunately they have lost their Best Employees and the staff and bartender are really bad and careless now and can truly care less about the customer. Items we ordered every time and I mean even a week ago but now they don’t have it or they have staff who doesn’t even know what we are talking about. We got over charged by their new bartender Haley by $30-$40 charging for the wrong wine and telling us she doesn’t know she just looks at the menu and guessed which one. She is always eating behind the bar while serving as well which is extremely gross to Us and unprofessional as any type of food industry server. Truly bad experiences the last 2 times and now when we try and order take out it is even worse. So unfortunate as we use to love the food and eating there weekly and seeing great staff. Truly now that Jordan has left there is absolutely no reason to sit or go to the bar and don’t dare try and order anything to drink besides a bottled beer.
