We purchased our tickets online and put the directions in our GPS. We live an hour from Vidalia and have never attended the festival. We purchased tickets for the Airshow only as a celebration for our 49th anniversary. We followed the directions given from the website.Traffic was awful and no one was directing the traffic until we were near the airport. Our GPS told us to turn one way. However that road was block and those directing traffic had us go another way. We ended up at the festival, but not at the Airshow. We did not receive fully the experience of the event we paid for. We were in traffic for two hours which resulted in us missing the first two hours of the Airshow. We did get to see the Blue Angels perform from a distance.

When we asked one of the parking attendants where the gate was to enter the airport so that we could present our tickets, we were told to follow the crowd. We also asked about handicap parking and was told it was probably full. What we got to see was not what we paid for. We are extremely disappointed in how this event was conducted and we are adamant that our purchase price of these tickets be refunded.

We expect a reply and an apology for such a bad experience. If this matter is not handled to our satisfaction, we will probably post a review on social media letting others know what a bad experience we...

We drove up for the onion festival and air show from Augusta, an hour and a half away only to sit in traffic for 3 hours and 15 minutes, you would think that the planners for this event would have a knowledge of how the traffic patterns would be for such a large event, however, this was an epic fail on their part, there was no police directing traffic at the main event parking entrance which caused this long wait, we literally sat in traffic for 2 and a half of the hours to go maybe 2 miles, if your going to host an event like this, then plan better, your offering a service that we pay for, then deliver! We got there just in time to see the blue angels, but that was it, we missed everything else that we paid for. Thanks for a horrible event...
