I went to Rialto tonight (Saturday 5/12/18) for an early Motherās Day dinner with my husband and son. We ordered our usual onion ring appetizer, chicken parmesean, fradiavlo & a cheese pizza with half pepperoni. We have eaten here many times in the past - always ordering the same thing. Tonight the onion rings were so so but we were hungry so we didnāt think anything of it. My sonās pizza came out first but it was a kidās size pizza instead of regular size pizza that we ordered. Our waitress said she put the order in wrong. She apologized and took it off the bill and even gave us our correct order to go - no harm no foul. My son complained that the pizza was REALLY greasy and halfway through he found a hair. It wasnāt the waitressā fault so we just rolled with it and even tipped her on the amount of the comped item and then some. However, my husbandās chicken parmesean was slightly burnt but he didnāt complain and just ate it. My fradiavlo also didnāt taste right....the sauce was different (maybe a new cook?) and there was WAY less pasta than usual and it was OVERLY garlicy (I love garlic but this was borderline offensive). Again, we were hungry so we ate and I took my leftover pasta with me. We had an hour drive home and approximately 15 minutes into the drive I had my husband pull the car over on the side of he road because I had to use the bathroom and there was no way I could wait. I got sick and as Iām sitting here writing this review my stomach is still upset. Iām soooooo disappointed because this used to be our favorite restaurant but this time I just feel robbed and sick (literally and figuratively). I definitely will NOT go back especially since the food left me on the side of the road - luckily we always travel with toilet paper in case of an emergency - this was most definitely an emergency!!! If anyone asks me what I got for Motherās Day at least I can comically say āI got the sh!+$ā If I could give this review 0 stars I would, but unfortunately the lowest I can give...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was at your restaurant last night and was also one of this six that had such a horrible experience. The only reason we mentioned how long we had to wait was not because we cared about the wait because we were with great company and having wine slushies but instead to try to explain why we believe the waitress was not thrilled with a party of 6 being sat down so late in the evening (she was actually throwing our food on the table like she was mad - and threw dessert menus on the table before we even got our food and told us if we wanted dessert to order it now because the kitchen was closing and they would put it in the refrigerator if we wanted any) and why the food was so underwhelming and on 2 plates it was even unedible (it was hard to even tell it was chicken in the chic parm...it was so thin and hard and cheese was burnt). The way we were treated when trying to explain to you our experience is something I have never experienced before . But as I can see on other reviews anything that isn't exactly what you want to hear is met with a typical response. The one you gave us last night over and over..... "you are the only one tonight that has had this experience and as you can see by our other reviews most people do not feel this way." Well we completely understand, which is why we tried to explain over and over to you, it is definitely not our typical experience. We did not want ANYTHING for free, we just wanted the manager to know how we were treated and food was not up to par. What do you suppose our goal here was? To wait 2 hours to be sat and get food that we couldn't eat and have to send back and pay for it? Get your head out of the sand and when you have LOYAL customers that FREQUENT your establishment and try to explain to you this ONE time you received poor service and food was not great quality, don't call them liars.... just apologize and move on. Your response shows that you really do not care about your customers....you just want to be right...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAbsolutely the best Italian food around. I've tried just about every dish on the menu, so I can honestly say that the chef has got the flavors nailed down just right. A few of my favorites are the Pollo Affumicato, where homemade Alfredo is simmered with tender chicken, bacon, asparagus, mushrooms, onions, and mozzarella, and served over a bed of penne. Tuscan Chicken is also absolutely amazing, and I can only describe it as the best of both worlds with the sauce. To me it taste like they take their marinara, and mix with their alfredo, and simmer it down with chicken, fresh spinach, and sweet peppers, and it's served on a bed of penne as well...HEAVENLY! On my last visit, I tried the Steak Gargonzola Gnocchi, and oh my goodness was it delicious! What goes better with steak than potatoes right? The potato dumpling pasta was served with a rich and creamy Alfredo base that had just a hint of blue cheese to it. The steak was cooked just right and served on top of the gnocchi, and it was amazing! The salad and bread that come with each dish is always fresh and delicious. Their desserts are to die for, with the homemade Tiramisu and Carrot Cake being my favorites there. Rialto is the place to visit if you're looking for fresh, authentic, amazing Italian food. After visiting this place, you will never want to visit a franchise...
