I am (was) a regular until I pulled hair out of my mouth from my philly . I politely called and wanted a refund. I could hear the cook in the background yelling as I explained why. I wrapped the hair up in cooking paper and took it back to the store as proof. Soon as I walked in the door I was being yelled at by the cook about how there was no way hair could've gotten in my food because everyone wears hair nets. As if that makes it impossible for a strand to get loose. Anyhow I showed them the hair (it was too thin for him to see) umhm. Same straight haired strand and color as the woman taking orders. ORANGE. He says it had to come from me... I have dark have locs... yelling and says he doesn't care if me or my aunt comes again (she had the same thing happen to her while back). Nevertheless I received my refund and I'm appalled at this point because like I said I WAS A REGULAR. Anyway the food here is really good just greasy so have some Tums or whatever you need. & Every blue moon I get somebody to go in and get me a sub lol. We were in town for business and decided to try this awesome little hole in the wall and we are so glad we did. These were the biggest and best cheesesteak sandwiches we have ever had. The pure weight of the sandwich was what surprised us first, next was the pure size of the things. There was so much meat and other fillings that it was falling out all over the place. The meat was chopped to perfection, the cheese was creamy and flavorful and the peppers were spot on. Please note you will not be able to eat this sandwich on the go unless you have a large bib with a catch pan. You will burn your tongue because you want to wait to eat this huge sandwich. You will love the super friendly staff and how fast they make your food. The staff said they have been in the business for over 20 years and they obviously love what they do and who they do it for. If you want a delicious sandwich for an amazing price go to A Taste of Philly because you won't be disappointed! I can tell you that T O P is my go to place in Vidalia...

I wanted a cheese steak sub. A good cheese steak sub and I found one. I had to go to Vidalia, GA but it was worth the drive.

From the outside storefront facade to the small homey interior, it was a delight. I was welcomed by Ms. Annette Collins and Chef/Grill Master Matthew. Ms. Annette carefully, correctly, and efficiently took my order. With guidance from Grill Master Matthew.

The wait was approximately 10 minutes and the result was a masterwork. Soooooo yummy! So huge!! So much steak!!!

I can't wait to come back and try the cupcakes as well as every other sub on the menu. And I will. This is my second favorite sub shop outside of Dublin, GA's Brian's Giant Subs.
