My husband, mother-in-law, and I went to vallartas for lunch Friday 12/22/23. We were seated in a timely manner. Our waitress, the one with long blonde hair, took our drink order and food order. And that was the last we saw of her. Someone else dropped off our chips and salsa. He didn’t even smile. Someone else brought our food. Not even a hello. No drink refills. I had to flag down another waitress and ask for more tea. She didn’t smile or speak. So when I went to pay for our meal, I very calmly said “we had terrible service. We didn’t have a waitress, the food was greasy, and no one here is friendly.” I kid you not the cashier told me that my waitress went on break as soon as we were seated. My husband and I used to eat there a lot because it is comfort food for me. They treated us like garbage. We tipped decently too. So I’m going to give y’all some advice, drive about 2 miles down the road to Rio Grande and get the best service and food Vidalia...
Read moreI ordered a nacho cheese burrito with steak, side of beans and rice, with a small cheese dip; according to menu prices, it should have been $19.25 plus tax, but was charged $27 plus tax; they used a child's size flour tortilla and it had only a few bits of dried out, unseasoned steak pieces that were not even chewable, in it and no cheese sauce in the container. This was a to-go order that was to take 15-20 minutes, but I was there at the 12 minute mark, and when she gave me the bag, I could tell immediately that it was cold, no warmth whatsoever; this was the 3rd and last time I'll attempt to get quality food from them; I have been a regular customer of theirs for years, but since they reopened after Helene, their quality and quantity has drastically reduced; shame on...
Read moreI was hungry but have a small appetite, so I ordered off the kids menu. I got a #1, which was one taco, rice, and beans. I chose double beans instead of rice. The beans had a crust on it, which meant it was not fresh. The taco was one of the worst tacos I've ever had. Flour tortilla with flavorless ground beef, some lettuce, a little cheese, and a light sauce. This not only was inauthentic, but I would not feed a child that taco. I saw the street tacos were over $4 each. That's too much for a single taco, but that is what I thought I ordered as a kids meal. The kids taco should be removed from the menu and only the street tacos served. The daiquiri I ordered was very strong, so the bar knew what they were doing. I hope the Americanized tacos are removed from the...
