Lyons Den — Local services in Vidor

I was really impressed when I visited here, for the first time, recently. The staff was very friendly and eager to help. They have a great selection of comics, board games, collectibles, apparel and lots of other things. The atmosphere is very welcoming and it looks like everyone has a great time playing CCGs there. I was also told that they frequently have different events that everyone is welcome to attend. I talked to Kelly about wanting to get back into comics after many years and that I was looking for a few newer series to start. Great place for chilling out with some friends and playing cards. Has a huge, diverse selection of comics with 'free comic book' days every once in a while.

They're part of the wizards play network, and they host FNM, prereleases, drafts/sealed/std/commander tournaments and you can come in and play casual too. I played there about 6-7 months and made a bunch of new friends who would let me borrow decks for tournaments since I was quite new to it. They also have people playing casual and competitive yugioh, and D&D.

The owners are super nice and will join u at times for tournaments. The tournaments have prizes for winners but most of the times every participant would get something or the other (shout out to the 'pity packs').

Called ahead and spoke with the owner. Really friendly and knowledgeable about his products. He kept his word and held a few items for me till I could get off work. The environment was nice. My son was with me and got one of the free comic books. He helped us pick out exactly what we needed and wasn't trying to sell me his most expensive items. I plan on making them my local comic book store even though I'm 25 minutes away because the customer service and conversation was top notch. He even invited me to come and play some games with them.
