Taco Bell — Restaurant in Vidor

It's Taco Bell, the food is as you would expect, but this location is not the best for a few reasons. First of all, is the wait time. If you intend to get this "fast" food, bring a Switch or something to keep you entertained. Wait times under 20 minutes are rare, and it's not uncommon to wait 30 or more even in the drive thru. The drive thru is also in a very awkward place, not so much for accessing but because it blocks the parking for everyone else. Thus, it's best to park closer to the main road to avoid being trapped as well as you can. Also, the drive thru line can get so long it not only blocks anyone from being able to get their cars out of the parking lot, but spills into main street itself. Still, it's a Taco Bell, got good fast food at low enough prices, and Mountain Dew Baja Blast. Just be sure if you go here, be prepared to wait, especially around dinner rush. Even if you don't intend to go here, be mindful if you're driving by it at that time too because you might need to swerve to avoid the drive thru overflow traffic.

It's morbid, but the pandemic has done wonders for this location. The drive thru is fast with much fewer customers, but most impressively the quality of the food has skyrocketed. I just had possibly the best taco bell taco I have ever eaten in my life, fresh and stuffed with meat and veggies without being overstuffed to a mess. The chalupa was fresh, in stark contrast to the cold and stale chalupas I had grown used to. Nothing in the order was wrong, which in this town is impressive. Also, the staff wore gloves and masks, which considering how few active cases are in this county is...

My husband an I went there for a couple of Mexican Pizza an when we got our Mexican pizza it was bad an a few other customers also ..I brought the Mexican pizza back up there an told her there is something not right with my food ..an the girl that is the manager supposedly an she turned around and told me I don't have time for you an I'm super busy with the orders an I told her that my food is bad an it's either going to be taken care of or I want my money back because something was bad in my food ..an A cook came out from the back an said he knew it was the shells of the pizza an he told the manager about it an she didn't care she told him to just serve them ..well she never went over to talk to me or any others . We got angry and left when we got home my husband got 🤢 sick I didn't because I caught it before it made me sick ,but my husband just getting over a cold an his taste is off so he could not tell ..I will never an I mean never step foot in taco Bell again ..I'm done with no service about anything or questions Taco Bell is horrible place .. shame on you taco Bell...

Decided to go through Taco Bell drive through today, it’s been a very long time, since I have even ate there, but today I decided on it. When I tell you, the young lady (Haley) who was working drive through was the RUDEST, to say the least. She cut me off in the midst of trying to order, then proceeded to tell me that she couldn’t add the extra condiments that I wanted until she had my drink order. Is this something new, because I have never heard of such. I might could have had a little sympathy had she be busy, but they were NOT!! I also know, none to well about dealing with people all day, I get it, but you come at someone negative, your gonna get negative. Maybe it was a bad day for her, but needless to say, she chose that position & for whatever reason she had a very ugly attitude!! This is NOT a good example of good customer service. Maybe she (Haley) needs another job where she doesn’t have to deal with...
