Expected more. Got less. IF YOU ARE GOING TO BUY AN ELECTRONICS ITEM BE SURE THE SERIAL NUMBER ON THE RECEIPT MATCHES THE PRODUCT IN THE BOX BEFORE YOU LEAVE THE STORE! As a local resident living less than 1 mile away we shopped here for our grocery and household needs for years. We loved it. Sorry to say that we are extremely disappointed with the management team regarding the return of an electronics item purchased (just in case we need it) 1-hour previously but was not needed or used. The box was labeled with a serial number that did not match that of the contents. As a result of the corporate return policy coupled with employees not checking the actual serial number of the product in the box at the time of purchase, they where unable to complete a return transaction and informed me that they had no remedy for this situation. After speaking with a customer service call center representative at the corporate level, I found out that a refund may be given as store credit when the return is processed without a receipt. You would think that 1 of the 3 management level personnel that I dealt with would already have this knowledge. Furthermore, the store manager was not open to the suggestion of having employees check actual serial numbers of electronic products in the box at future checkout transactions to avoid the possibility of this scenario presenting itself again. This level of service did not match what we had come to expect from this store based on experiences with the non-management level personnel in years past. Thankfully the corporate level customer service call center representatives are more knowledgeable than store management and able to provide guidance...
Read moreI genuinely do love this Target , most employees are friendly and helpful however ever since I came to this county and started visiting this location; Junior, the employee who works in the electronics area always gives me any looks and has an unwelcome attitude. Today I Went in to see what new Toys they had in stock and was happy to find some stuff I had been looking for an arranged them on the shelf in a fashion to photograph them and post on my socials for other collectors to find and he harassed me about it and said; “all I do is mess things up” and threw bunches of insults and unnecessarily approached me and harassed me for literally no reason. Everybody moves things on shelves in retail, it’s just the nature of the business. This employee made it clear that I have always been a bother to him and decided to take it out on me today for quite literally no reason, there’s nothing wrong with taking pictures of things I found…. Everybody does that. Quite literally appalling behavior and harassment from this employee as well as having the feeling now as a repeat customer that this location is not safe anymore as he made it known...
Read moreWhile in general I enjoy shopping at Target. I’ll never understand why it’s such a hassle to actually check out. It’s not always super busy, but the past few times I’ve gone the self checkout have only had one side open and maybe a real register or possibly two. Just left the first day of the Circle sale and it was pretty busy. One really register and 4 out of the 8 self checkout stations were open and there was a long line. It was such a cluster, adding some sort of a queue would at least help some. it’s just crazy that ALDI has more self checkout options for a store about a quarter the size of Target.
Honestly, this is the one real advantage of Walmart. They actually know how to take your money and get you out the door.
Just to add to this review after shopping again today with the exact same issue. While waiting in the self checkout line at least 2 people behind were saying the same exact...
