Literally the worst Chick Fil A I've experienced, on multiple occasions! When they opened, they were on top of their game and definitely competing as one of the best, but not anymore. I visit this location at least twice a week (only because it's the easiest to get to), and it's the same issues every time.
They CANNOT handle mobile orders- don't push the app so hard if you can't handle the demand. I always order as I'm almost to the exit on 95 (not to mention 3 busy intersections you have to wait through) and it still takes them 10-15 minutes of me sitting there waiting for the order. They are in no hurry with this service.
Food quality has gone way down since the opening of this location- over cooked chicken sandwiches and the tiniest chicken patties (especially on morning sandwiches), over cooked/hard biscuits. I even had a few times of ordering nuggets that were slimy tasting as if they weren't cooked all the way through.
Service is QUESTIONABLE- this location is one of the busiest I've ever seen (location right off 95), but I guarantee it's not because of their quality. I've been to enough Chick fil A's to know they hire predominantly young team members, and unfortunately the age shows too much at this location. They are more concerned about goofing off and acting busy to run this location. Even the managers at times are super young, so when you have a problem...you might as well hold your tounge. In my opinion there definitely needs to be more adult supervision at this location since these kids insist on acting like kids, better or more training, or stop hiring children and stock your restaurant with adults who care about paying the bills and are actually going to do a good job every day. Need an example?...Keeping customers waiting in line to order while an off the clock member is ordering food, and they just sit there laughing and chatting about their plans for the evening and waiting on friends to text them their order so they can get them food before they leave. This has happened on multiple occasions on the night shift.
Something needs to improve with this restaurant or they're going to continue to create disappointed customers. And until they fix their problems..driving to the less convenient location seems...
Read moreI come from Atlanta I used to go to the dwarf house and other locations at least once a week. I've been going to this FL Chick-fil-A since they opened but over the past year or so they've really degraded in their quality. I don't ever seem to get a fresh hot crisp sandwich anymore. I've been disappointed with the quality of the food the past 10 or 15 times I've been to the two Viera locations and the Merritt Island location and the Melbourne Mall location. As a result of geneeal quality lowering over the past 6 years or so, I just quit going to Chick-fil-A. It's been about a year and a 1/2 now & I tried it again but the quality is just not what it is suposed to be. You can see from the other reviews that this location doesn't take Chick-fil-A quality as seriously as they had in the past & it doesn't appear that there's any intention of re establishing the high quality Chik fil a standards. At the local Chick-fil-A's here, it's not just this one, it's the others around as well, they just don't meet the quality of Chick-fil-A's throughout the south. So I don't Chik FIL A Florida anymore and may not eat Chok fil a in the future. It may just be Florida. Florida just doesn't care about high standards. Floridians are way too easily satisfied with way low quality, which is why Chick-fil-A was so wonderful here. But it has become just a Florida Quality thing rather than a Chick-fil-A quality thing so... For the same price I can have a better nicer meal at more...
Read moreWe love this Chick-fil-a. Everything from the friendly courteous service to the friendly faces that remember your name. The community friendly events from: mommy and me, mother son night, father daughter, breakfast bingo mornings, and the food giveaways, they are always organized and inclusive of all participants. Lynn does a fabulous job as the Happiness and Hugs Hostess. Andrew "Andy" is always friendly and does a great job keeping things in the front of the house clean, stocked, and organized. The food is great as there are many options from healthy to not so healthy, which I appreciate. The iced coffee is DELICIOUS...some of the best I have enjoyed and the only "fast food" coffee I will drink. They are usually rather clean in this location, from the play place to the dining area to the kitchen. I am a huge germaphobe. The play place could use a good deep cleaning - vacuuming of the floors and deep scrubbing of the play equipment. I've been in super early in the mornings to kid handprints on several of the windows, to which surprised me that early in the morning. The morning crew does great job keeping the place clean and tidy, but feels like the late PM crew could up their game in this depatment a bit. We have been to MANY of the Chick-fil-a locations across the entire US (due to travels) and I have to say this location rates HIGH in terms of cleanliness but is not THE (singularly) cleanest location we have...
