Trail of Terror — Local services in Viera

I would have to disagree with some of the other reviews, I thought last year was pretty meh, all over the place thematically, not particularly scary, with good ideas but not really realized. This year however, had a clear focus with many great ideas executed well. The actors are great, it feels really tailor fit to you personally, though I went with my dad and our entire group was just us, so that could explain that, but even then, the scenes are clearly made to be places where the actors interact with you and put you in a live scene, the scene with the doctor and the rabbit-lady in the cage for example would work with groups too, as opposed to my experience at halloween horror nights where it felt like a maze where you walk though a path with stuff happening in rooms to you left and right. This however is more interactive, the actors talk to you and make you the part of it, it's more immersive I feel. I will say though, the loud noises need to be toned down, jumpscares should be more well thought out, for example the doctor at the start had me waiting and nothing ever happened, that was awesome, very well done and very intense, had me very on edge, yet other parts would have a similar premise of passing them but they'd just scream as you walk by, as if designed by different people, some with clearly stronger grasps to the horror genre. If the entirety was as well done as that initial doctor and other parts, it would totally be better than hhn, which is frankly pretty insanely impressive from a significantly smaller production. It was awful! First, they didn't open on time, half hour late. Second, they kept shuffling the group from one entrance to another: not once but twice. Thirdly, it was way over priced. Finally, it just wasn't that scary. Oh I almost forgot, the trail was uneven, difficult to walk. I do not recommend...

I thought the trail was great. Would have been nice if it was a little bit longer but overall my kids and I thought it was scary and fun. What made a big difference was letting small groups go at a time. We will do it...
