Xpress Fitness — Local services in Villa Rica

I had recently moved to around January 1st 2025. And I was already working 💥 🥊 with a Bonifide Boxing Trainer in Villa Rica, Georgia. Therefore I wanted to find a Local Gym for Conditioning & Muscle gains. I liked the Xpress Fitness Location because it was nearby to the Apartment as well as the Post Office. I talked to the Lady on Staff at the front desk. Explained that I had recently moved to the area & would like a trial Workout. She gave me a Tour. Pointed out to me the Machines & Weights. So I put my Gym Bag in one of the Lockers in Men’s Restroom. Then went to a Triceps Machine. As I was working out with machine. Suddenly this abrasive heavy metal Music began to play. I wasn’t too fazed by it at first. I’ve been to Gyms Nationwide. Figured it couldn’t be too raunchy down in the Southern Bible Belt right? However after the third rendition of “I want to F*€# You like an Animal” blared out over the Speakers at full volume. I immediately got up. Went & grabbed my Gym Bag. As I walked out the Door…, I told the Lady that I was leaving. Then I explained to her why. Not to mention told her that I would NEVER bring my Teens here to this Gym to enjoy a workout together. Especially if that’s the type of Music genre they have on the Play list. Not to mention it’s like a maze at Xpress Fitness. There is not enough open spaces to easily walk about there. Refreshingly…,I had a much better experience with the second Fitness Gym I checked out in Villa Rica. It was classy & the Girl there & other Staff members told me about their New Year’s Special. They played my Song request of Dropkick Murphy’s & Floggin’ Mollys. It made for a great experience overall. In addition I paid Three...

I MOVED FROM THIS AREA IN AUGUST!! Spoke with a young lady and asked to have my account closed. No balance in AUGUST she says sure! I can have that done and send you a copy of the closure!! Nothing received so I assumed hey the account is closed! I hadn’t used them since JULY physically !! They already tried to charge me during the pandemic when I or ANYONE couldn’t use it it was CLOSED!! wasn’t using it RED FLAG I should have left then!! Fast forward to NOVEMBER I get mail to my new address that there is over a $100 balance owed!! ME: whatttt??? I HAVENT USED YOU SINCE JULY! MIND YOU THIS ISNT A CANCEL FEE THEY ARE STILL BILLING ME!! AS A LONG TIME CUSTOMER I HAVE TO TRUST THR INFORMATION YOI TRAIN YOUR EMPLOYEE WITH IS CORRECT AND I COULD ONLY GO BY THEIR WORD!! Now I’ve been calling for months and a superior has yet to return my phone call!! And I HAVE BEEN THREATENED YES THREATENED “ WELL I JUST HAVE TO ADVISE YOU THIS CAN GO TO COLLECTIONS” to make an example out of this gym and other places I will take this to court and fight any collection action I have kept personal notes on the calls and times I have called . I SAY THIS TO SAY YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD GYM IS NOT SO NEIGHBORLY WHEN IT COMES TO A PANDEMIC AND COINS. If this were my establishment I would take ACCOUNTABILITY!! There is a new desk person everytime you call with a new lie as to why the manager is not available ! beware...

Moved to the area so was checking out new gyms. I was really needing childcare and wanting the gym to also have yoga classes. When I walked in, I wasn’t greeted. There was no tour given so I had to look around to find everything myself. The childcare room is a small closet to the cycle room. No bathroom. It’s like it was an afterthought and they threw a few baby toys in there. It was very sad. After I checked it all out, I went to go discuss their prices. The two women working behind the counter were talking and I waited 3 minutes until they looked at me like I interrupted their conversation and asked if I needed something. I said they could finish their conversation if needed but I was new and wanted to discuss their prices. They charge for just the gym, extra for the classes, and extra for the childcare in the closet.
