Kong Long — Restaurant in Villa Rica

i’ve been coming here since i was a young child (i’m almost 21 now) and i’ve never had a disappointing experience.

the owner has always been so sweet and their prices are so reasonable for large amounts of food, which is very rare to find nowadays. you can get a hot, fresh, large meal from here (and probably have leftovers for later) for the same price of a disappointing mcdonald’s meal. the containers are always packed full and the food is made to order. we just got home with our to go order and after picking it up and the 15 minute drive home, it was still piping hot when we opened it. the meat was steaming, egg rolls were crispy and hot, everything was perfect.

the workers are always friendly, food is always hot, tasty and fresh, and the prices are great. you really can’t beat it. growing up, this was one of the only couple of places that my parents could afford to get dinner for the family when we wanted takeout, and we’d all always end our dinner satisfied and with leftovers! they’ve stayed true to their great pricing all these years. i recommend kong long to all of my friends when the topic of good chinese food places comes up. even when i lived in carrollton, i chose to make the 25-30 minute drive to get my chinese food here because i could count on the quality being consistent.

Been to this place twice in 4 months. It definitely will be the last time I would ever buy from there. The First time I purchased food from there, the chicken was dry and since I ordered braised chicken, it was nothing more than fried chicken dipped in braised sauce. The second time was recently... The shrimp fried rice had only four baby shrimp out of the whole container and it wasn't fried rice, it was merely white rice covered in Brown sauce. In addition, I asked for extra dipping sauce for the other item bought and the lady started talking in her language as if she was mad that I asked for an extra dipping cup and it was very small. I will just go the extra miles and go to Panda Garden 2 in the Kroger plaza at 457 Nathan Dean Blvd # 106, Dallas, GA 30132 if I ever want Chinese again. My boyfriend and I got takeout from here the night before last. It was the first time I'd had Chinese in years. I got pork with vegetables and white rice; he got the same but with 4 different kinds of meat. The food looked good and tasted good - we ate around 7-8 pm Sunday night. When I woke up yesterday morning, I didn't feel well. I went to work, but started feeling very nauseous and weak, and left after 2 hours. Throughout the day, I was very dehydrated, nauseous, tired, and had gas. My boyfriend are my leftovers for lunch, and a few hours later, he violently threw up multiple times.
