Stix Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Villa Rica

I’ve had poor service before, but Stix takes it to a whole new level, especially with the opening crew, particularly Kaitlyn and Kelly (apologies if I’ve misspelled their names). We visited to support the APA Ladies League Pool Tournament. After seating ourselves, we were ignored for so long that I genuinely wondered if they had forgotten about us.

When we finally flagged down a waitress, she took our order. Our drinks took over 30 minutes to arrive, and when they finally came, they were completely wrong. The same thing happened with our food; one dish seemed to have vanished into thin air. After reminding our waitress multiple times, she finally admitted that she had forgotten to put it in.

For an establishment known for hosting many excellent pool events throughout the year, you’d think they would be well prepared and I expected service to match but it was not so. It was a significant disappointment. The disorganization and long waits were a major letdown. I highly recommend that anyone visiting this establishment arrive after the first shift around 5 or 6 pm. Went in here to play a little pool thinking it was free until 6pm nobody told us that it was only Monday-Friday until 6pm was free and Saturday and Sunday is $10. Per hr. So when we went to leave they told us we old them $43. In which at the time I didn't have so they called the police on us saying that we were trying to still from them in which we were not they also said that it was on the sign that you couldn't see the chalkboard and it was wrote in brown color making were you couldn't see it. So thanks to a very nice man he came and helped us out I wish him many blessings.. I also want to say that they had the police to give us a trespass warning so we can not go there anymore and this is even after the nice man helped us out. So I would like to see this place close permanently. So this is what happened to me I will never go back to any of there locations again. The first time I went to this bar, the atmosphere was great and the addition of pool and cornhole made it even better. Even the bartenders and waitresses were nice and quick. Within that same visit, I was robbed. A regular stole not only my drink but also my brother's wallet. The bartenders and waitresses both immediately told me who it probably is because this regular was know for stealing and causing issues. Why he wasn't banned at the first offense is beyond me. I was reluctant to ever visit this establishment again, but I chose to tonight and was denied service. Using the same ID I had as the first time, they chose to deny my ID due to it being the same one I had before I was 21. No other establishment, even out of state, has done this.
