I’m normally impressed with the staff. Yesterday that positive impression with Festival in Weston was ruined. I purchased from the deli a container of tater tot hot dish. I microwaved it today, it smelled like someone was nuking a salad made of composed weeds. When I went to stir it, it was, no less than 65% peas and no more than 5% meat, with the potatoes previously UNCOOKED (nobody nukes frozen potatoes and eats them, you have to at least fry or bake them first) adding to this, the smell made me have to air the house out. I have no idea how it tasted. I couldn’t get by the stench. I wasted a meal and an hour of work to pay for garbage. You would have gotten 5 stars, but your deli leaves a bad taste. Furthermore, this dish is a universal classic comfort food dish. Whomever bastardized this recipe to improve profits included a questionable filler (peas) as the overwhelming main ingredient is no cook, is no parent feeding loved ones, no one to be trusted with the best interests of your corporation nor the public you serve. That vented, let me reinforce my impression of the staff as a whole at your Weston store…5 star ++++! There is not a single employee I’ve come upon there that didn’t greet me and ask if they could help me. I’m a retired Sales Development Manager for Sears and I would have been blessed with people like these. I’m not looking for compensation. I’m not giving up on you. I will look forward to the quality you show in so many other ways. ...

When I was looking for a whole chicken, cut into portions to use to make a homemade soup (not really available in premade packages), the butcher offered to cut one up for me, and did so promptly. As usual, the meat was of excellent quality. While some common foods are often a bit more expensive than in some of the larger stores, they usually have some very good specials and carry a number of local products that are not readily available in...
Read moreThe only reason I gave this place 1 star is because the app doesn't allow you to give 0 stars. Used to be my favorite place to by groceries before Festival took over. They had the best brand of local meats which they got rid of... The selection of items in the deli has dwindled to a tiny fraction of what used to be available and the meats have an odd taste to them. The final straw for me was when they stopped selling anchovies. Perhaps not everybody's cup of tea but I love Greek and Mediterranean cooking that call for their use. I used to stop by this store several times a week, but now I will never step foot in this...
