We absolutely love CLP—it’s truly been a second home for our children. All three of our kids have gone here (or are currently enrolled), and we couldn’t imagine a better place for them to grow, learn, and thrive. • Most importantly, our children are safe and deeply loved here. • Ms. Luz and the entire staff have become like family to us—they are nurturing, dedicated, and genuinely care about each child. • They serve healthy, homecooked, balanced meals with lots of variety and low sugar—something we really value. • Our kids spend plenty of time outdoors exploring, playing, and connecting with nature. There’s no TV or screen time, which we appreciate. • Emotional self-regulation is taught and modeled daily, and we’ve seen how much this supports our children’s confidence and social skills. • The dual immersion in both language and culture is incredible—it’s a gift that adds so much richness to their learning. • Communication is consistently clear and thoughtful; we always feel informed and supported as parents. • We’ve also connected with other families through the daycare community, which has been a wonderful bonus. • Our older children were potty trained early (our youngest is well on her way!) and fully transitioned out of diapers without any stress or setbacks. • The school readiness support is excellent—our kids entered pre-K and kindergarten already knowing their letters and routines. • CLP partners with the UVA-developed Stream3in program, and follows a well-structured curriculum during the school year, along with a fun and enriching summer program.
We’re sharing our experience because we know this is one of the most important decisions a parent will make for their child. This daycare has given our family so much peace of mind and joy—we truly can’t recommend Children’s Learning...
Read moreI applied for this daycare back in 2022. They told me I needed to wait until fall of 2023- no problem. However, I needed to basically chase down the director to get a tour of the place. To no avail, they never called back in fall of 2023. Luckily I had some back up daycares and my child went there instead. Im technically still on the wait list after this many years. I wanted to give them another chance, I called the other day to see the status of my enrollment and they said they would call back, but no surprise- no response again. Im honestly surprised that they have students attending with the lack of communication to even get your kids in.
I have no experience inside the school, but their administration is lacking extremely. It makes me nervous as a parent that if my child attended this school, I would never know if anything...
Read moreI love this place and these ladies so much that sometimes I just want to hang out there! You can tell that each of these ladies is passionate about children and education. They have created a stimulating, caring environment for my son who has been going there since he was 2 months old. As a first time Mom, it was really scary for me to have to turn him over at such a young age, but I can tell he is happy and that he loves the ladies that care for him there. This is a tight-knit family company that truly LOVES the children they care for. Add in healthy food (all prepared in-house - NOT processed), crafty activities, continuing education for the staff so they're always up to date on best practices, and even a room to breastfeed - What more could...
