I walked into the store on 06-09-2025, with my son who was excited to spend his gift cards he had received for his birthday. Also he was looking for some pointers on how to transfer data to his new Switch. An male employee, wearing glasses, with long curly hair completely had an anxiety attack in front of my kids and rambled on why he won't touch it and won't be held responsible. I never asked him to touch it. I barely even got a few out before he had his mini meltdown. I was just wondering if I was missing a step and was hoping for some verbal guidance. We will never be returning to that location and I will not renew my membership. I'll pay online for digital downloads. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON GAME STOP, DINUBA BLVD, VISALIA. Waited in line for 3 hours to get a chance at the new release of pokemon cards for my son. They open the doors and everyone gets in line, then another employee opens another register and starts helping people from the back of the line which completely screwed all of us that waited hours since there was very limited supply. We left with nothing because of this employee. Ma’am if you’re reading this say it with me “I can help THE NEXT person in line!” Was that so hard??

No standards, no honor system and brainless unhelpful employees at this store. Avoid at all costs unless you want to waste your time.

The kid with long hair sold me a pre-order for Civ 7. I asked for steam, and the receipt said x-box, I told him it wasn't right, but he swore it was for steam. I get the activation code, but it didn't work. I check firaxis, valve, and ganestop support, and they all told me to go back to the retailer.
