The atmosphere there was nice and i loved the ambiance! however me and my boyfriend were a little disappointed with the service. they were very busy so i want to give them some grace.. we got there and were seated immediately and they took our order right away. we both got sodas and they were both very flat and we felt bad saying anything but we ended up just asking for waters instead. i order pho and my boyfriend got a banh mi. i got my pho and we had waited 10 minutes before i finallt decided to ask for my boyfriends banh mi. when we asked they said it was coming then came back a couple minutes later saying they didnt have bahn mis. they asked if we wanted something else and we asked for the menu again and a couple minutes to decide what we wanted instead and then they never came back and my boyfriend decided to just not get anything at all. when we paid my meal plus an appetizer was 40$. a bit pricey for only one person to eat. i know they just opened and i would love to come back and try their food again and hopefully their service will be a bit...
Read moreWe were excited about discovering this Vietnamese restaurant in town & really wanted to support them, but we just couldnât. We felt like fools eating a bowl of Bun Bo Hue, but we could not tell to what it was that we were eating. Our expectation was not too high because this is not in the Bay Area, but It was terrible. We didnât see or taste any spicy lemongrass. No meats at all from the bowl. They used the broth from the Pho đ, added 2 beef ribs which rarely had any meat on them, 3 little pieces of pork sausage (cha) & finished the bowl with the small vermicelli noodles which I have never seen any Vietnamese restaurant would use this for their Bun Bo Hue (it should be the thick noodles)
They call Bun Bo Hue is their Signature. What a Shame!
All & all, they still charge $22.50/bowl (even more expensive than the Bay Area - SJ) đ
We also tried grilled pork vermicelli & that didnât make the cut either - the. Eat was salty, no green onion nor peanut.
This place is a money grab. Donât waste your hard...

The Hut Combo Pho was delicious, meat fell off the bone in tenderness. My husband just wished the broth was slightly meatier in flavor. But overall really good broth. And a huge portion so the price makes sense.
The âVietnamese Sandwichâ was super good. Probably my favorite thing. Iâve been missing Bahn Mi so much, so maybe itâs the bias there, but the meat inside was flavored perfectly. Next time Iâll just ask for extra veggie.
The Vietnamese fried chicken was a great texture too. And the fish sauce was not too overwhelming.
Overall, a clean and nice dining experience. Weâd...
