I go to tj max like twice a week sometimes and always have a great experience however this time I had a bad experience in the jewelry department... the employee Was having a long conversation with another customer about having twins and bla bla bla this went on for what seemed like forever I made it clear I was there even asked the girl from the dressing room if she could help us since she was literally just standing there not doing anything and she said that wasnāt her department when I finally got helped she didnāt even bother to apologize for having us wait instead she went on to say she needed to be friendly to get good reviews..... itās fine but when you have other customers waiting on you you need to cut your conversation short not continue to make it longer by talking about your personal life... and I did let her know this ......I literally felt ignored...good customer service is a plus for me and this was not good customer service at all. You have to give good customer service to everyone. When we were leaving the girl in the register wasnāt even talking my coworker had to tell her to have a nice day without getting a response back. This really sux because Iām actually always talking about how much I love tj maxx to my coworker and just about everyone. Hopefully they can work on there...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI've never been here before, but had decided to check it out since I was going to Target. I found a couple items and went to the dressing room area. I walked and looked around, seeing no one, so I figured it was self serve, since all the doors were open. Tried on my items and they were great, so I headed out of the dressing room area only to be met with an irate attendant who said "Excuse me!" I stopped and gave her a puzzled look. She asked where the tags were and I showed her. Then she asked for my number and I said I didn't know I needed one since no one was there when I walked up. Well, she assured me she had 'been there the whole time' and took the items from me. I was just going to leave it at that and walk away, but then she second guessed herself and handed them back to me saying next time I need to check in with her. Lady, I'm not a teenager. You don't need to treat me like some petty thief just because you let someone slip past you on your job. The cashier was friendly but that hardly made up for miss high-and-mighty dressing room attendant who takes her job far too seriously.
Thanks but no thanks, TJ Maxx, there are plenty of other overstock stores for me...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was just there today since I hardly ever go. Thereās a reason why. The older lady who rang me out was very courteous and sweet. When I went to put my cart away the two other āgirlsā who were working there were just chatting away in their ālanguageā super loud and standing around. I didnāt realize that there was only one spot to put carts away and I was told they didnāt go there; however there were other carts there and other people left carts in the same coral area. I told them I would put the cart away in the ācorrectā spot when I was done being rung out. What happened to customer service anymore. I used to work retail and I never behaved that way and told people what to do. I just simply did my job and were kind to customers. The new generation of workers were not trained in courtesy itās really unfortunate. I would not return here again. It was also a disaster area. What happened to stores and...
