My knotted pearl bracelet broke a while back and Beads, Crystals & More was recommended by another business I thought would do the repair but they no longer do that type of work. So I popped in with the pearl bracelet and another beaded bracelet I hoped they could shorten with the expectation of leaving them both for repair. While the pearl bracelet will take a couple of weeks to finish, Savannah immediately started working diligently on the challenge of shortening the beaded bracelet while I waited. She carefully took the clasp off and investigated a solution. She spent some time trying different ideas until we decided on her original suggestion to change the clasp and add a charm for some weight to better hold the bracelet in place as there really wasn't a way to shorten it without taking it totally apart. As it turns out, that was a perfect solution and the fresh new look is even better than I had imagined it could be! This place is gorgeous! They have a mass variety of crystals that are hand sourced and intricately picked out. There's tons of beads and the customer service is very knowledgeable and helpful! (Savannah is so personable loving and friendly. She makes you feel like you're long lost friends or something! My little sister (who is autistic) went in there and Savannah was really sweet with her! Shopped for over an hour and Savannah helped create a necklace for her. Only downside is I noticed the ballchains are not high quality.Got one in the color of bronze and and within days it started to chip revealing a silver color underneath. I have the distinct advantage to be able to return to this store on any given day. I live "up the road" so to speak in Carlsbad. The town of Encinitas is a gem in its own right. But Beads, Crystals & More is quintessential Encinitas - right up there with Swami's Beach and The Meditation Garden at the Self Realization Temple. When in town you've got to stop in.
