I got hooked on Acai when I went to Brazil two years ago so I was stoked to find a place within minutes of me where I could get my Acai fix. Their Acai bowls are $8, but it's a fair amount of Acai, granola, fruit, and coconut. I've paid less in Rio and Honolulu but it's bigger than the Jamba Juice Acai bowl.
The Lushies (Lush's version of a smoothie) are pretty decent, although a bit pricey.
Great location right in the heart of downtown Vista, parking can be tight in the evenings especially on Wednesdays where there's the Farmer's Market or when there's a show at the Avo.
Open contemporary space. A little outside seating. There's a row of counter seats in the front; these windows open to the street so it's outside seating while being inside. Some seats towards the back, but it's more of an open area vs lots of tables.
They had a drive through location on Vista Way but closed that...
Read moreI actually give it no stars but that's not an option. The new owner isn't honoring gift cards or preloaded cards that were purchased under previous ownership. This new guy must be extremely cheap; you have to ask for a napkin, my bagel with smoked salmon and cream cheese came with a packet of cream cheese and the tomatoes, onions, salmon, and capers each came in separate little plastic cups. Apparently he thinks he is saving money this way while helping to destroy the environment. It's ridiculous especially since I only used about a fourth of the capers and threw the rest away. Also, I think he gets the bagels from the freezer section at the grocery store. We definitely won't be going back. Too bad because the coffee really is good, but not worth that level...

Ordered a tuna melt and 3 other sandwiches. They obviously forgot about the tuna melt and messed up another sandwich order. Its cool I get it, it happens sometimes. When they finally brought my "tuna melt" out that's when I decided that I will never come back again. My tuna melt was literally a cold tuna sandwich with toasted bread. I was under the impression that a tuna melt was toasted so the cheese melts on to a creamy combination of tuna and mayo, but not at lush. You can find a better tuna sandwich out at a random gas station in the middle of Arkansas. They deserve a 1 star but you really can't mess up...
