My wedding was this weekend and I can say that 100% regret choosing to rent from men’s wearhouse. When my fiancé and I went in for our first consultation, the representative helping us wrote down every detail about the groomsmen and ringbearers. He asked and wrote down the ages of the ringbearers. Knowing that they were 3 and 2, this representative showed me the suit would be identical to the grooms and be available to rent. A few weeks later, I took one of my ring bearers in to try on a jacket. I was informed by a different sales representative that they do not even make the tux in sizes that small. Obviously, that was frustrating because I had to come up with a different outfit to coordinate with the groom. That was the first issue. The second issue was that every single one of our 8 groomsmen had trouble when they went in for measurements. Most of our groomsmen are in different cities, and every single one of them had issues at their location with their sales associate being able to locate the wedding. Every time they looked for the correct suits under the group number, they couldn’t find it. The original representative we used most definitely did not write down the correct information even after he asked us, he repeated it back, and we verified the correctness. The last issue and my biggest one is that on Thursday my father in law went to pick up his tux and guess what? They had his, 2 groomsmen and my father’s being needed on November 3... OF NEXT YEAR. this goes back to our original sales clerk’s errors. On 6 out of 8 groomsmen, the date was correct. Somehow this guy wrote down or typed in the entire wrong year for a chunk of the bridal party. Had this been caught by any of the numerous staff during the measurement process, it’d be no biggie. But two days before my wedding? Absolutely unacceptable. This mistake should have been caught by someone way before this. Men’s Wearhouse also has a system where with the group number you can log on and see all of the suits set for your wedding. My information was never entered in. Every time I tried to check nothing was there. I appreciate the manager’s apologies and expedited process of getting the suits to us, but it was honestly just a gamble if they would make it in time. There was a chance that they couldn’t have and we’d have been short 4 suits the day of my wedding. I’m giving them 2 stars because they made it in time. If you use this location, stay diligent in making sure they write down and enter in the correct information. Triple check them. Quadruple. I’ll never use them again and I’ve told every soon to be bride I know to save themselves...
Read moreOur visit to this store was long and difficult. Very snootie people. Kept treating us like we were renting for prom. But we were trying to purchase a tux. The fellow was slow and helping the other people working there who were waiting on other people. But after an hour and a half, we finally had all the elements of the tux together to purchase. They told us it would be delivered in 5 days, in a box, and would need to be pressed. Then they let us know. They didn't carry my husband's size, 31x30 ? Now, here is what we were told. The guy said to go to Richland Mall, to Modern Man. So we did. What an awesome store. A very sweet and kind and super respectful man greeted us at the door. We told him what we needed. He looked at my husband and grabbed the perfect suit, his size, and exactly what we were looking for. A beautiful hand made tuxedo, handmade shirt and tie. It will be ready in a couple of days, pressed and in a lovely suit bag. Modern Man is a wonderful store with wonderful people. I'm looking forward to going back to Modern Man. Gonna buy all my sons there own tux from Modern Man. Such better quality than men's warehouse. And we paid 500. Less than we were...
Read moreC- or 3 stars rating. This place is genuinely just the definition of “okay.” they have some nice selections and they will fit you with accurate measurements, but there are far better tailors in waco than their in house tailor and FAR better tailors in surrounding cities. they will give you attention to detail, but honestly for their price point it’s not enough. you can go to many other places and get a better suit, tailored better, customized to your liking more while all being cheaper or the same price as this place. 3 stars because there’s nothing “wrong” here in my opinion, but it’s too expensive for a mediocre product and service when compared to other places. if you want my advice, keep looking; but also this place isn’t just a catastrophic disaster, it’s fine. when you’re ready to shell out the bigger bucks on nice clothing/wardrobe change, you would be a fool to choose this place. if you just want one sports coat, can’t be bothered to leave town and don’t care if it has a perfect fit, go for it! treat this like dillards, not a fine...
