Aldi is a convenient and affordable grocery store that I find myself returning to regularly. The prices are consistently lower than most other supermarkets, which makes a noticeable difference on my grocery bill. While the selection isnât huge, they carry a good variety of produce and frozen goods, and the quality is usually pretty solid. Their frozen section is especially useful, with plenty of budget-friendly staples and some interesting seasonal items that rotate in and out.
One thing to keep in mind is that Aldi operates a bit differently from other grocery stores. Youâll need to bring a quarter for a cart, bag your own groceries, and adjust to a no-frills shopping experience. Itâs not a big deal once you get used to it, but itâs something to be aware of if youâve never shopped here before. Also, while they have most of the basics, they donât always carry certain name brands or specialty items, so it might not be the best one-stop shop for everything.
That being said, if youâre looking to stretch your grocery budget without sacrificing too much on quality, this Aldi is a great option. Itâs clean, well-organized, and usually well-stocked. The checkout lines can get a little long during busy times, but the cashiers are efficient, so it moves quickly. Overall, itâs a reliable and budget-friendly place to do your...
Read moreWent yesterday around 5:30 pm. Lots of empty shelf space. Store is older and could use a remodel. Worst part was the associate working the register. We went to self check out to avoid her after she was yelling (yes physically yelling) at people with her open sign saying âyes, ummm see the open signâŠthat means Iâm openâ âput your stuff on the beltâ. Our check out experience was fine until the realized we couldnât use our gift card at self check out. She yelled across the store from her register âLane 4! Lane 4! Ahhhh you canât use a gift cardâ No suggestion that if we would bring our stuff to her she could check it out for us or anything. We just paid and will use our gift card at an Aldi that doesnât have a rude employee physically yelling at people. Also a light would be helpful if a register with an actual cashier is open. The plastic sign cannot be seen when headed toward check out. How rude of her to treat...
Read moreGreat prices on meat and seafood and very friendly staff. The most important asset that this store has though (and this may or may not be consistent throughout the ALDI chain, this is the only location I've been to) is that the employees act as if the customer's time is valuable. Think of it as a polar opposite to shopping at Wal-Mart. If there are 3 customers ahead of me in line at a checkout, I'm still checked out and bagging my groceries within 5 minutes. I'm not exaggerating; it really is that fast. You may feel out of place on your first visit, as there is an operating code that you are expected to know and follow and it is not the same as other stores. You must insert a quarter in order to unlock a cart when you begin. You must bring your own bags or purchase them at the register. You must bag your own groceries. Check it out though! It's a breath of fresh air in an otherwise conservative and sometimes...
