Ink social is an amazing establishment. The owner Lexus cares deeply about her business and customers. I have been doing business with Lexus from when she was renting at elite vitality. I am fully aware of her dreams/goals for ink social. I started following ink social on FB when it opened, because I follow it the FB algorithm shows me updated posts of tagged staff. I was recently sent a recommendation on Aug 2 for a staff member at ink social who was “dancing” at sugar dandy's and it had explicit photos. Along with multiple posts that were highly inappropriate. In the world we live in what you do on your social media and off time VERY much reflects on your day job!

Recently, I was in and witnessed behavior of an employee who was yelling, swearing, allowing personal friends to come hang out, a minor child was in and running around screaming and in areas she would not be in. I was hearing stories about ex spouses who are involved in criminal behavior and cheating on her. I get it that staff chat with clients but it can be done on a quiet level where it is not heard by other customers. Professionalism is lacking with this staff member and I made it very clear to Lexus that I would not do business there if this staff member was present as that is not the atmosphere I associate with. Lexus took my complaint along with others seriously and handled the situation immediately. Please take this into consideration when seeing poor reviews as this former employee is showing her maturity and lack of professionalism by having her friends post negative things instead of self accountability and growth. Imagine pouring everything into your dream studio and having a staff who has zero accountability for their behavior and how it effects others and the image of the company. Lexus is absolutely incredible, so down to earth and such a sweetheart. I LOVE both of the tattoos I've gotten from her! She wants your tattoo to be exactly how you want it to be and wants to make sure everything is perfect before actually doing the tattoo. She listens to the things that you like/don't like/want to change with no judgement and no pressure and will wipe off the stencil and put it back on as many times as you need until the tattoo is exactly where you want it to be. She is very thoughtful in tattoo placement and will offer her honest opinion on whether or not a tattoo placement doesn't look right or whether or not the tattoo will bleed/not heal right. Mia is an incredibly talented artist, and it’s a huge loss that she was let go. She brought a lot of attention to Ink Social, as many people only learned about the business through her work and promotion. Unfortunately, the owner not only took clients from other artists, including Mia — but also showed a lack of basic blood borne safety knowledge. One incident even involved the owner getting upset when someone pointed out it wasn’t safe for a child to eat something off the floor due to possible blood contamination. No matter how clean a space appears, blood can still be present and pose serious health risks.
