Was not impressed with the meal or the accommodations at the St. Cloud, MN location. Took my elderly parents out to dinner, my Dad is an Air Force Veteran and is in a wheelchair. I called ahead to make sure there is availability of handicap seating. The girl on the phone said we will try a find for you. 1st of all, find one, would you think Texas Roadhouse would have specific seating for people in wheelchairs and you could reserve them. When I asked, she said no we don't take reservations. We got there 20 minutes early and had to wait 15 extra mins. They said we have a place for us and they brought us back to a booth with this attachment to the booth which would leave my Dad a distance from the rest of us, to which he can't hear. I specifically told the girl on the phone we would need a table. A nice waitress said she had a table. Again, hardly any room to get my Dad through the other diners at their tables. Once we got to the table it had to be adjusted in order to fit a wheelchair! It was so frustrating! Besides that the food definitely did not make up for it. My mom's beef kabobs were so tough she didn't even eat them, I ordered a new York strip steak and got a sirloin, when I told this to waitress, she said, that is a new York strip it's just the end piece. WTH! The whole evening was awful! I will be contacting the Texas Roadhouse corporate office and let them know that they need to make better accommodations for those with disabilities. To me it's disheartening that someone who fought for his country and lost most of his hearing because of it, is not given the proper accommodations in order to enjoy an evening out...
Read moreMy husband myself and my mother-in-law Were there for dinner this evening and we went there especially to get the $12.99 dinner specials before 530 and and when the server came to our table. She asked us what we would like to drink. And we all ordered water and I ordered decaf coffee. My husband ordered regular coffee with cream and when she brought the coffee out my husband's coffee was ice cold and he had to tell her to please take it back and heat it in the microwave because it was ice cold. We We're not offered any refills on our coffee. I ordered the herb chicken. My husband ordered the herb chicken and both of our chickens were so salty. We can hardly eat them. The dinner rolls that they brought to our table We're tough. It's like we almost broke our jaw trying to eat them. They were so tough and my mother-in-law Ordered the barbecue pork dinner. That was not BBQ pork. It was pulled pork. Which wasn't even pulled, it was like cut and barbecue sauce on the side. It was terrible, also. My French dressing for my salad was so spicy. I don't know if they got a new cook But we were very Disappointed and the cactus blossom that we ordered The breading was different than normal, it was very thick but the bottom of cactus blossom was raw batter. I wanted Cactus blossom brought out ahead of time But it came out after our salads. Please tell the cook to go easy on the salt...
Read moreNew review July 19, 2019: After coming back for a second time, I was pretty dissatisfied. The bacon burger that I ordered was decent, but the side I chose was a baked potato. It looked delicious, but it was so incredibly salty, I couldn't get through more than two bites. If you plan to order a baked potato, I seriously implore you to order it WITHOUT SALT. Other than that, the burger was okay, not quite the best I've ever had. I would never order this meal again. Hopefully if I come back, I'll have a better experience. Once again, the bread was amazing and the Raspberry lemonade tasted like a starburst, it was awesome!
Old review June 21, 2019: Service was hecking awesome!! I wish I had taken photos of my food but it was so legit I dug right in. I'd recommend going around 11am-1pm for their lunch special where everything is $9.99 because the options are delicious! I had the pulled pork dinner, which came with two sides (I picked buttered corn and steak fries) everything was perfectly cooked and the lemonade (Blue Crush specifically) tasted awesome. All in all, it's a great sit down place with a beautiful array of decorations (lots of old sporting equipment and mounted animal heads). I'd absolutely go back, even just for the Honey Glazed buns you get for free when you sit down (TELL THEM TO KEEP THAT...
