Number One Nails Salon — Local services in Waite Park

I used to like this place a lot, but I got a new set recently, went in for 1 fill, and not even a week later a nail fell off. They double booked myself and the person I was with but there are only 2 employees so they were very rushed and kept switching customers whom were all doing different things, didn’t push back my cuticles at all, and when I requested a new set instead of a fill I was told I didn’t need it, only for my nails to continue to crack after getting my fill. Not to mention for the person who came with me, they completely changed her nail shape. My nails were damaged and they should have recognized that and let me pay for a full set. Now a few weeks later I haven’t gone back because I refuse. When my nail fell off a few days later there was a bacterial infection under it. I took off the rest of my nails and there was an infection under 3 more nails, I have pictures of all of it. If the original nails weren’t damaged and could have been filled, this wouldn’t happen because there wouldn’t be any open air that could get under the nail. Pretty disappointed because I used to...

I want to respond to the review from a lady stating she came in (without an appointment) today, that they could not get her in right away. #1 read the signs posted on the door and the big sign in the salon (which they always direct people to read) #2 it is the LAW from the governor that ALL salons have appointments and NO walk ins allowed. Again this states on the door and Inside. So to make it look like they would not see you is ridiculous! especially as my friends who were seated in there at this time it happened can vouch and agree you were immature and out of line. it not only rude of YOU, but untrue and ridiculous review. There is not one reason why your comment insinuates anything about color was the reason you didn’t get appointment! Its was our first time visiting there and we had a horrible experience. I could barely understand them. First i tried booking an appoinment for 6 30 pm for my girlfriend but they told me that they would only book and appointment after talking to her. That was unusual. Later, we went for walkin 7 pm and were asked to come around 8 20 pm as they said it was appointment based. So we made an appointment for 8 20 pm we waited and at 8 20 pm we were told that appointment was not made. Thats just insane and rude. They even would deny the fact that we made an appointment when we went there an made an appointment. We were really frustrated as we wasted alot of our time waiting for nothing. i would not recommend this place for any of you. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND WASTED...
