Blue Beacon Truck Wash of Walcott, IA — Local services in Walcott

I wish I could say this was a quality wash but it isn't. $65 for the truck and $26 for the trailer. As normal, one side is somewhat better then the other. A lot of missed places. Sadly I left there and went to the tourist trap across the way. I specifically asked the trailer to get done very well and that didn't happen. I also mentioned other spots that two out of 6 where hit good. The fecal matter that some one was so gracious to leave in my trailer in Indiana was still there. I went through a very dust area in Illinois and that was still there. Probably should had just went to the truckomat but figured BB would do a better job. I guess that's why I love washing my own truck. Yeah I takes 3 hrs but it's a 1000% better. I hope the wash aircraft a lot better then...

I was approached by a worker with an "I don't care" attitude. I told him what I wanted done. A classic wash with the truck and trailer brushed to thoroughly remove the salt and dirt accumulated from the road and was told okay. Then they didn't do it, and I told another attendant about brushing the truck and trailer and was told okay, and they still didn't do it. When I was approached, letting me know it was done. I asked if they had brushed it and got "huh" as a response. I showed up here around 6:45 in the morning. I do not recommend coming here during the overnight shift cause they seem to not care to do what is asked of them. I won't speak for other shifts or crews cause I don't know. But I will never return to get a wash during that shift again. I will be calling...

The wash was great. And the Young men were okay. But the whole process was a bit awkward. I normally try to hit up a blue beacon between midnight and 4:00 a.m. so I don't have to wait in line for half a week. I got there at 1:45 a.m. and waited for an hour in line. They were only using one bay. Which makes about same much senses going on a walk with one shoe. You have two bays, use them both for crying out loud. Just as I got pulled in there was another truck that came in so they put him over in the other bay and all the guys except two went over to wash that truck.
