Up North Shirt Company — Local services in Walker

This is the 3rd summer I’ve been to this shirt shop. It’s a cool experience and there is a great selection of shirts/sweatshirts BUT the main woman, possibly the owner, is extremely rude to her employees. I fully understand that everyone has a bad day or two occasionally and can act out on others but EVERY SINGLE TIME I have been there she has been so awful to her employees. She yells at them (not exaggerating, actually yells), and makes rude side comments almost constantly.This always makes my family and me feel very uncomfortable. The other day when she was yelling at someone, as I was walking up to pay, the other employees were quietly apologizing for her and her actions as if it were somehow their fault. I have always resisted saying something on here because the shop is cool and the other employees are always great. It’s too bad that 1 person can be so nasty to her employees seemingly all...

This place is the BEST. We had a big group in the shop in August and we bought a bunch of stuff that needed printing. The staff handled us like a champ. Cheerful and patient and even helped with the designs.

When I got home I shrunk my hoodie (you have to check those dryer settings!!) so on a whim I reached out via Facebook to see if I could get a new one made.

They responded that same day and an employee helped me recreate my hoodie, in a bigger size and shipped it to me. Seriously, above and beyond service.

We will definitely be back...

The shirt is fine but the buying experience was pretty awful. The store seems to be run or owned by one middle aged woman and the workers are all younger people. Today when our shirt was getting printed, the owner (or whoever that woman is) was yelling at all the employees and it was just really uncomfortable.
