To whomever post 1 star on this restaurant and dare to compare it to Famous Dave’s. You must be out of your mind! Sure this place doesn’t include your sides in the price but that’s why you get their entrées so cheap! Yeah you can go to famous Dave’s and order entrées and get your sides for « free » but compare the prices!! You’ll end up spending more at Famous Dave’s if you don’t get entrées with sides at The Piggy BBQ. Also, is everything made « in-house » at Famous Dave’s? I’d assure you, this place probably makes more « in-house » because of their small menu. The food is great and the specials are even better! The alcohol selection is not the « best » but it’s up there; local brews and good strong liquor selection. The chips.. OMG the chips man, you gotta trade mark that with Pringle’s or Lays. I swear that « cocktail » seasoning; it’s like crack-cocaine. Always got to get a bag of those before I leave this place. The live edge wood high top and bar is beautiful too. Also I ordered a special to pick up—the smoked prime rib—I have to say I don’t always enjoy the pick up food because the food is not that great once you get home. When I got home I was pleasantly surprised to see my prime rib wrapped in a film and then tinfoil which kept it still warm and juicy. So props to whomever did that but it’s the small details. Indeed the only downside is the staff not wearing masks which makes you think that it’s $ over customer but I would still support this business because...
Read moreWe dined in with a total of six of us.. Originally we were going to order online, however, the website was down not allowing us too. We knew this place gets busy so we call the head of time requesting a reservation.... We were told that it is first come first serve, even though the website says call for a reservation. We found a table no problem. However, while we were there, the bartender received a call and during that call he clearly told the people on the other line " I will save a table of nine for you"... Where just a half an hour or so. We were told they did not take reservations and it was first come first serve.... When our table overheard that we were a bit in shock. The food was phenomenal, the waitress was friendly. There was a couple times she forgot about us, however, she apologized letting us know she was dealing with some of the new equipment they had to help them take orders. She said it was taking her a little more time. She was prompt on getting us our drinks. The price of the food is what it's expected. I would stop at again. The doors are always open which does seem to attract some flies which is a bit of a...
Read moreI was greatly disappointed! Definitely not Rib Fest material the meat dose not fall off the ribs and their rub has no real flavor. You definitely need sauce on those ribs for flavor. I was a manager at Ribs West in Fargo and we not only won every year we entered Rib Fest but our ribs were full of flavor so you did not need sauce. So I would say I am qualified to comment on this. Basically this is a Famous Dave's clone, the food is nothing to write home about and the cost is high. Prices are similar to Famous Daves how ever we found the service very lacking. The waitresses were more intrested in talking to eatch other than attending to customers and their needs. The place gives the impression that they are more intrested in impressing you with buying a t-shirt or hat from them and having great merch than having great tasting food. I will say the pulled pork was moist and had flavor. That was the only thing we...
