DO NOT COME HERE FOR A NOSE PIERCING! I came in about a month ago in distress because my fresh nose jewelry had fallen out while I was having lunch on Moody St. I went in and asked for a jewelry installation since my piercing hole hadnāt closed yet. I made sure to tell the worker that my piercing was only a week old and asked for full transparency about whether it was safe to put new jewelry in. He assured me it was fine.
Once we went into the room, it took nearly three long minutes for him to get the jewelry in, and it was genuinely the most pain Iāve ever experienced. If my two friends hadnāt been there, I probably wouldāve fainted. I later found out that the jewelry he forced in was double the size of the normal gauge used for nose piercings, and that no professional piercer would insert jewelry like that, especially without proper tools and while the customer is clearly in pain.
I didnāt want to write this because he was kind and even gave me a discount, but Iāve since had to go to another piercer after a month of ongoing infection and pain. They told me just how wrong the situation was, and Iām honestly so upset and disappointed. The jewelry he used was also way too long, constantly snagging and irritating the area. Despite how nice this man was, I feel completely taken advantage of. I wish I had never gone here and had just let the piercing close instead. The video I added is what it looked like AT...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWish I could give them 0 stars. My friend and I called a week ago to book an appointment to get our bellybuttons pierced. The man on the phone was kind and told us to come in at 2pm on Sunday, July 24th. So, today we drove almost an hour and a half to get here. We got to Almoda around 1:45ish and the door was locked. We didnāt see anything wrong with that, as he said to come at 2pm anyway. So, we waited 20 minutes and came back at 2:05. We walked in and told the man at the counter that we called ahead of time and that the man on the phone told us to come in today at 2. The man had an attitude and told us to come back after 2 then. We looked at the time and it was 2:07. He then said to let him have his coffee first and then heāll be with us. We said ok, as we were perfectly fine with waiting a little bit. As we waited, we looked at the jewelry options and talked amongst ourselves. The man then told us to be quiet and to not talk. He said he has a headache. We werenāt being loud at all, so we found this extremely odd. The man was visibly hungover and acting so rude to us (his customers). So, we left. We now have to drive another hour and a half back home due to this inconvenience. Iād love if someone could provide with with an email or phone number so I could directly talk to the owner to figure out...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWhen I first came in the lady was nice, and it looked like a nice place. I came there to get my nostril repierced, it was being shoved in for a minute or more, extremely painful and I was crying so much(I have a high pain tolerance). When I got my piercing in my hometown I didnāt shed a tear it was quick and painless. Then he was like āalmost thereā ātake deep breathsā he also said āseems like the inside is fully closedā no shit itās fully closed I came there to get it repierced. I told him I didnāt want to do it anymore and left with no piercing, and extreme pain. I also notice the hole looks bigger and like it wasnāt aligned correctly. A professional piercer should be quick, almost painless, sanitary, and have correct technique. Which my experience was nothing like that, do not go to a place below 5 stars and always look at the negative reviews before the...
