The Outer Limits — Local services in Waltham

This is probably my favorite comic shop. I used to go to Newbury Comics just because they're all over the place, but lots of times no one knows what i'm looking for. I also used to go to New England Comics because they have lots of bin sales, but the customer service is terrible. Everyone there think they're doing you a service by selling you comics. At The Outer Limits, Steve provides excellent customer service along with superb knowledge of comics as well as his stock. I remember walking in last week and asked, "I'm looking for the X-Men wedding issue of Jean and Scott. I think it's X-Men 45..." He told, "That's X-Men 30, I have 2 in the bins." I went over to the bin and there were exact two copies of issue 30, the wedding." This was just the latest. Every week would email asking for comics and he always respond within a day with exactly what he has, and put them all aside so I can choose when I get there. I've been to many, many comic book stores over the years, but The Outer Limits is the best. This store has everything you could ever want (and some things you didn't realize you wanted until you saw it and went "wow, I can't believe he has this!"). Comics, toys, books, games, a fantastic selection of vintage vinyl, trading cards, pulp and vintage magazines, sections devoted entirely to Beatles and Elvis memorabilia. Of course, you'll find all the new releases on display, and what they don't have, Steve the very friendly owner, is more than happy to order. I've visited The Outer Limits several times over the past year and every time found it impossible to leave empty handed. I guarantee anyone who walks through the front doors of this great store will surely find something they want, whether they know what they're looking for when they do cross...

This shop is the best shop ever the owner Steve is not just a comic shop owner but since I started going in his awesome shop on moody street back in the 80’s to get my fix of punisher and Conan it was clear that with my drive to find the next most violent comic and Steve uncanny ability to put me next to the work I was interested in I and all of my compatriots were bound to do much business in his shop we raised our children to do so and Steve always had curtesy to take aside projects I may have not known were coming out and always pulled them for my file. Truly a store that the owner cares about his clients and what they are looking for I’m sure there are very few that could boast the same.
