Moody St Smoke Shop — Local services in Waltham

I’ve been going to this smoke shop for years now. At least once or twice a week. I was asked by a salesman there to write a review…and I’m glad I waited. The treatment I got last time I was there is really messed up. We all have our issues, whether it’s anxiety, and/or addiction, or other issues. The salesman that I usually interact with was there last time I went. He looked very sleepy (I didn’t want to bother him tbh) but I needed a 20$ vape. He usually charges me 21$ if I use a card. He charged me for the vape but the total came out to 22$. I was really confused, he didn’t explain right away at all, finally I remembered that I owed him a dollar from last time. I quickly apologized and paid. He then said verbatim to me “Every time you come in here, you’re crazy”. I was shocked to be honest. Was I anxious? Yes. I usually get worked up if I think someone is over charging me for seemingly no reason. But that’s no reason to call me “crazy”. And I apologized…. It was very mean spirited of him. We all go through so much as humans that I think it’s a really sad thing when people try to bring others down. Besides that, the prices may be slightly cheaper than other places—but you get what you pay for. I wish they had someone better working there…it’s generally a good place. Blue Moon smoke shop is two doors down from them and they have great deals there. Plus the people act professional there. Also, if this store responds in any sort of way, I do not accept apologies from people who are clearly problematic. I don’t want backlash from this either. I’ve been nothing but nice to him and everyone who works there. Please just train him better or maybe get him some help. He’s the guy mentioned in all the other posts about him. He seems to have a lot of unnecessary anger. I wish him all the best….but I won’t be returning to this store...

HORRIBLE, H O R R I B L E salesperson. I believe it's the same one the comment prior to mine spoke about. Called to get info, all the answers were: I don't know, with a condescending tone & utter disinterest. Went to the store because it was closer to where I'm staying and thought maybe I'd get a different attendant in person. Well, if it wasn't for the uber waiting for me outside, I would NEVER have bought anything in there. This guy's tone is DISRESPECTFUL. If you don't like people, just go work behind a computer, dude. Won't ever...

Whether you’re a first-timer or a regular, they treat everyone with the same level of respect and care. Easily the best smoke shop in the area....
