That said, 5 stars is simply does not fully capture my recent experience with Waltham Auto Gallery. There's nothing 'slick' about this business, in fact, if you sneeze driving down Moody Street you're likely to pass right by. In any event, once you've done your research and have decided on what make, model, year, and price range you're looking for, look at their inventory first. If they have the car for you, this family owned dealership is the ONLY place to buy a used vehicle. Last Thursday I stopped by to take a look at a 2007 Honda Odyssey. Test drive went well, low miles, excellent condition. Wanted to have evaluated by my mechanic who was located a half hour away, they drove it there on the spot. He discovered a few issues that needed to be addressed so I had a conversation with Daphne and expressed my concerns. No discussion, no haggling, done..'we'll take care of it'. They installed all new brakes, and we negotiated 4 new tires with installation and alignment at no extra cost to me. Additionally, one button on the heating panel was stuck and that was looked at too. Next, Daphne arranged all financing at the lowest possible rate, her Mom did all of the running to insurance company and the registry, her brother completed all repairs,and they had the car inspected as well. I did nothing other than sign a few papers and returned Saturday morning to retrieve a car that was ready to drive away. Returning home, and doing my own thorough inspection trying to figure out all the bells and whistles, I discovered the heater button had gotten re stuck and a latch on a rear seat was broken. I called to report these issues and, again.. no discussion, no haggling, come on back we'll take care of you. They really are that good ! I am beyond impressed with Waltham Auto Gallery's dedication to customer satsfaction and their attention to every detail of your purchase from providing the best price on the car you've been searching for to getting it ready and on the road for you. I would highly recommend this business as your first choice. Nothing fancy, but if your looking for good, hard working, professional, fair, and honest people to buy your next used car from, this is your best bet. Thanks Waltham Auto Gallery for a wonderful...

Best used car dealership experience EVER. Better than I could’ve dreamed.

I found this place through CarFax, because they had the make and model my Mother-in-Law (MIL) wanted, with low mileage and a terrific price. Waltham is a hike for us (in Plymouth), but it was SO worth it, for the car and for the service we received.

My husband and MIL went to check out the car together, and I have to say, he can be skeptical and hard to please, and she’s not the most confident shopper, so they were hard to impress. But that’s exactly what Douglas at Waltham Auto Gallery did - impressed and delighted them both. Douglas was friendly and warm instantly, but not at all pushy or overbearing, like some salesmen can be. He answered all questions thoroughly and patiently, and was straightforward, fair, and transparent throughout the evaluation of the car.

Once they decided to buy the car, Douglas was extremely helpful at processing everything quickly so that my MIL could start enjoying her new car. The night before my husband went to pick it up, Douglas drove the car home overnight and back in the morning, to make sure it was in peak condition. As he told my husband, “your mom is a wonderful woman and I want her to have a really great car.”

Additionally, when there was a cosmetic part missing from one of the doors, Douglas searches around for a replacement, and when you couldn’t find one, he ordered one direct from Honda and had it shipped to my MIL’s house. This was all after the sale was complete, just out of the goodness of his heart. What a class act!

My first interaction with Douglas ended with me not buying a car - this is because based on the situation I was in he didnt want to see me end up with a really high monthly payment. He showed real integrity in that moment because he could have done a deal with me and not care that I would end up way overpaying. Instead he looked out for my best interest. When the time came that I was able to buy a car and not be in such a bad spot I went right back to Waltham Auto Gallery and was able to purchase a great vehicle that would benefit my family and myself tremendously.

I have nothing but great things to say about Daphne and Douglas and will continue to buy from them and refer people to them. In an industry filled with people just trying to sell sell sell this brother and sister duo show that there is still a dealership out there that has heart and soul.

I picked up my new to me car last night and the feeling of joy and overall contentment with the experience at Waltham Auto Gallery just grew more. When I picked up my car Douglas had addition surprises that made the experience that much better. Douglas went above and beyond expectations to make sure this vehicle is perfect for me and my family. I used to hate buying cars but this changed everything. I will be doing business with this family for years to come. Thank you to the brother and sister duo for all you did to help...
