Stop & Shop — Local services in Wanaque

VERY disappointed lately... First I would like to sat.. The store managers Mike and Pete are awesome... They are alway there with a hello and a smile, working hard stocking themselves to try to make sure things are great.. Brian in Produce IS THE BEST and always goes above and beyond to help me out.. Yesterday really left a bad taste in my mouth....The bakery seems to be very inconsistent and when I ask for something they act as if I am an inconvenience.. I asked the girl at the desk...not the courtesy desk, the one in front of check out, if she can call another store to see if they had an item.. She called the other store to check for me, they didn't have it.. I was not finished with my request and she continued talking to the girl at the other store about her daughters Pizza Party.. She saw me standing there still waiting , looked me right in the eye and continued talking about her personal life.. I stood there a few minutes , and eventually left.. I had a sizable amount of groceries to buy, as I am there every day and spend a lot of money there EVERYDAY.. I left without purchasing, because of her intentional ruddiness.. Stop and Shop lost my sale because of her.. I am still debating whether I ever want to return there, except in a bind..Although Shoprite is a few more minutes away.. I went there and spent my...

Haskell Stop and Shop is located right off of 287 N Or off of Union Blvd. There is plenty of parking from in front to both sides. Bathroom are clean and spacious. Awesome place to shop for your every day to days items. Always Fresh and always delicious.. I have never been disappointed by their products. I love this place- friendly service and staff… The location is clean and kid friendly- Awesome bakery- They have made many delicious cakes for all occasions. Gada is the baker queen. This Stop and Shop goes over and beyond to help you with all your needs. From food, delivery, to shopping for you and then they will place it in your trunk. Easy as that. Order ahead of time. Order online. Or go inside and buy it for yourself. Whatever your preference. The food and staff are amazing. Thank you All for your hard work day in and day out.. I really have no idea what is going on in this store in Haskell. I have complained before about finding expired stuff on the stuff . Yes they say they are going to take care of it. Usually it’s only by a couple of days past the date on the package. But this one takes the cake. I was in there on 3/5 and spent $100. I went to go use the Vevetta shells and cheese mini. It had expired Dec 16th 2022. This is not acceptable. But what’s even worse is when I went to call the store I spoke with the assistant manager Amy and told her what happened and she laughed.She did say I can get a refund . But this is not the point.!!!!! Why should I have to take twice as long to shop and check all the dates in everything. Maybe a call to the board of health should be made. I would like a response from corporate at this point...
